great location. helpful staff and clean cool rooms. we made a last minute booking, therfore a bargain stay! the athmosphere in the hotel was really nice, so was the location: really close to the action. nice in the room : i-pod speaker system. no parking, but a parking across the street for 24 dollar for 24 hours, wich is fair i guess.Proximity to beach. The room decor was different. all reviews »
staff at desk was overall ok but a bit posh, the hotel recently had a complete make over, but it seemed that the bathroom was a last minute thing, old toilet and the glass wall was not up to all the water, ah well not too bad just shower, go to the beach and when you come back the housekeeping cleans it all!!. We were not advised that complimentary coffee was available in the morning and consequently paid over $8.00 per cup on Ocean Drive. Continuous noise made by people returning to the hotel throughout the night. They did not have the courtesy to continue their endless debates about absolute trash in their rooms but did so outside our door. This can be verified with the night porter.

The South Beach Group offers drop off service as well. For return trips to the airport, the shuttle departs from the Chesterfield Hotel every two hours on the even hour.
