It has a great concept and wonderful staff..but the rooms need more than patch repairs to raise its stsndard. didn't use the pool but there were many who did and it was lovely. AND she had to oversee the breakfast bar. - I usually try to stay at Red Roof Inn when I'm in Lubbock on business. The staff is great they go above and beyond your needs. There maybe needs some updating but as far as comfortable you can't beat it. Nice place to stay

  Before he passed away, my fiancé and I found La Quinta the only hotel for us. We have a beagle and it is the only place that doesn't charge you extra and nobody ever complains about our dog. Of course she always gets a bath, has never had fleas and never goes potty inside a house. - Staff was great Room was clean and well designed.

  I had originally booked my room online, accidentally booking in the wrong city. Online it advised that cancellations were not accepted due to it being past the deadline.   My 85 y/o father was having eye surgery. The staff bent over backwards to help us, even providing a wheelchair for our stay.   Arrived from Houston to find a managers happy hour. The bartender was awesome. Enjoyed one of the best rub eye steak dinners I have ever had. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will be back! - It was very relaxing place to stay and they got us everything we needed right away!

  I appreciate the concern of the Manager in trying to accommodate us after the hotel put the wrong arrival date into the system. - Staff was friendly and helpful and even brought me 2 heavy blankets at midnight because I was freezing.
