Loved everything.Excellent restruants close by as well as public transportation,Easy access to the beach,wonderful Patio on 4th floor made it convenient to relax and being a smoker it was a great place to relax and smoke :) Staff was very Helpful and courtious. We had business to conduct in the Santa Monica area. The Days Inn location was almost within walking distance and made it very convenient. It is also comfortable and clean.
all reviews » We had a room with a huge balcony which was awesome. The hotel has a very cool Miami vice feel, we had a big room too, heaps of FREE secure parking. Room size and cleanliness. Staff - exceptionally helpful both on checkin and checkout. Great experience booking with letsbookhotel.com again. The Hotel is nice and well located. Nice rooms and good bed! Very confy! I recommed this hotel. Santa Monica is lovely :D. stayed there before, basic, comfortable , no hassel, hasn't changed much in 7 years, beds are way more comfortable now. Also, not impressed at all with on-site gym. There were no weigths at all. It was all good. Breakfast instructions were poor. Needs updating some decor not working order. Location- a little way from santa monica centreal area Décor was dated We were at the front of the building which was noisy at times. Theres ants in the bathroom, the staff are rude and unprofessional and does not explain where everything is like the parking, workout room etc. Not courteous or accomodating to the guests at all. Expansive but it's LA Breakfast is minimalist. They did not offer the aaa discount and it did not dawn on me to ask, now I find they have it and I think the staff should bring it up. The Internet did not work. You charged me for an extra day despite the receipt! Meaning, you printed out a check-out receipt for $300 and change and debited me $500 and change. Also, the so-called private balconies are NOT private. People could stand in their balcony and look into my room! Plus they can climb over the balcony rail and break into the other rooms. Definitely NOT private balconies by any stretch. The breakfast was not restocked in a timely manner, even the coffee which is unacceptable. Also, when I requested coffee for the room it never arrived. They were overwhelmed. I feel like I was over charged and will be getting ahold of whomever I need to to make sure it was a discount like it let on to be. I did not like the whole structure because it's too old and definitely would need to be re-styled. The fee is not acceptable for that kind of hotel... Dated decor, part of our room ceiling paper was held on with push pins !?, Communal areas not particularly clean, Sketchy area, safety catch on door didn't work and our room was right by the emergency stairway leading to the alley. Noise level was very poor. Heard the people above us talking/walking. Very poor night of sleep. Brought to the attention of staff upon check out. Will not stay at this location again. No return contact from manager-concerning these matters. Room was smelling. When I got there my disabled room was not ready. They put in a room that must have been thev worst room daysw inn has. It had a window looking out to a house next door. Dirty , realy dirty.
