The experience was very good. Freindly and helpful customer service, clean, safe, and a good breakfast. We tried to check in a bit early (1:30) but our room wasn't ready so the staff agreed to securely store our bags and allowed us to use the staff room to change our clothes. Pasadena is nice, but not downtown LA, so travellers should consider this if their primary focus in more central. For a budget hotel this one is excellent and I would recommend this hotel.
all reviews » The breakfast included boiled or baked egg, sausages, yogurt, pastries, waffles, cereal, coffee, tea, jam, cream cheese etc. - a good variety. The room was big - bed and pillows very comfy. Very clean, nice sized mini fridge, Nice white sheets and duvet cover. Beds were very comfortable and it felt great to relax after a long day shopping. Water pressure not great, but always hot water. Breakfast was good. The room was very clean. It is only a ten minute drive to the Rose Bowl. - Location was perfect for us, near SR-134 and SR-2. We were driving and locations to visit were out of LA. - Prices are lower than in LA and there is free parking. - Wide rooms with comfortable bed. - Good breakfast. Good size rooms, good breakfast choice, nice small pool area, not to bad location for the tourist sites of LA. Added benefit of parking included. Some restraraunts cafes, take always nearby. Friendly and attentive staff. Location near a variety of cafés and restaurants catering for different budgets. Worth visiting Eagle Rock whilst you're in the area. A bit noisy. - Noise was not a problem for us, but may be a problem for those who have light sleep. - Breakfast room is a little bit small. You can possibly wait for some minutes to have a sit. LA traffic...?.. Our room smelt of really string urine, we had to buy air freshener to mask the smell, but we were so pleased with the hotel we didn't want to mention it. the safe charge was unusual pool should be getting cleaned each morning, was full of bugs etc each day i checked. Fridge was not working?. It did not bother us, but it will be good if the fridge was working. I did not complain as I did not need it. The breakfast room was totally inadequate. Each morning was standing room only which put us off even trying to get in. Breakfast coffee not good but coffee chain next door. Breakfast room was tight. Maybe could put some tables outside?. the traffic is awful if you want to get downtown. Nothing. There was no shower hose or an available handicap shower bench that I need. wi fi. The hotel is not true, but if you travel around the city, you really need a car. Front personnel tend to be arrogant. Fridge had to be unplugged at night due to excessive noise. Breakfast incl, however not accomodating the number of travelers. For sure not deluxe as advertised. Operating hrs 6:00 to 9:00 am guess ok for business travelers. Standing room for the most part. Near or at old town Pasadena is misleading since it's not. Internet extremely slow, and one day not working at all. Nothing!. There is no elevator and we had to bring our luggage to second floor. A bit far from the main LA attractions but maybe the attractions are far from each other so there's not much to do about it. Internet a little slow. small roaches in the bathroom, no big deal yet let the hotel survey know about it. pyjama of one of our group went missing during the stay. Towels were stained and thim. Looked like someone wiped down their car with it. Bed was too firm and my back was hurting by 4:30a.m.
