The desk clerk at check in was the nicest man I have ever had the pleasure to work with at check in. He was warm, smiling, took care of problems in the reservation, answered phones enthusiastically, made recommendations that were great, and was VERY clear about key instructions like Internet passwords. He didn't mumble or make us feel like he was too annoyed to be bothered to be nice--like so many learns do. He was amazing. I so wish I noted his name for you.
all reviews » Rooms newly refurbished & clean! I wasn't expecting too much given the internet price, however, was highly impressed with the room (non-smoking). Fridge was brand new as was the furniture - air conditioning was cold! Although off-strip, mall & restaurants 2 blocks away. Will stay here again!. We've stay at the Highland each year for the annual Baker to Vegas Law Enforcement Relay Run and set up a communications post as part of the support for a team. The staff has always treated very well and accommodates our temporary radio equipment and level overnight activity. The front office staff was awesome! He helped with with all my questions and even called taxis for me!. Facilities were very clean and comfortable for the price. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Everything, this is where we always stay when in Las Vegas. Sam Petal is a great host. Wasn't that expensive, and free Wifi. The bed was comfortable, room was very clean. A very nice, clean, well-decorated room for a budget price. Price was reasonable. Convenient location. location. price. Great value. Helpful staff, very clean & had a fridge. Handy location( we had car, so was great to be able to get to stores nearby, it's close to a great food mkt at town centre, which is off blvd Las Vegas . Fre parking also . Way better than a casino. . It's close to the airport. No shaded parking. Not a problem yet but looks like the bed spreads and some of the furnishings are showing a bit of wear. Check out time was too soon. There was no microwave. Could not connect to the extension Wifi, so I had to connect to the main one which resulted in a weak signal. Although Wifi is free. a bit noisy because of the trucks. No amenities. No Breakfast. only one ice machine. needs maintenance. Nothing. The hotel is a little run down and not as clean as it could be. You took $100 security deposit from my card. Security for what? It is now 4 days since we checked out and you have not returnrd that money. I need it!!! For that reason we will not be returning to this facility.
