We had a 2nd floor apartment on a 2 storey block - try to ask for the 2 storey buildings when you book. It was fantastic. The location is great, just in front of the beach.We sat on our balcony every night and watched the sun go into the sea and then the sky turn beautiful colours. It was good to be opposite the shops. Very convenient. The apartment was lovely and had everything we wanted. You would have cooked a 3 course meal in the kitchen. We liked the pineapple in the fridge when we got the.

The morning snorkling off the rocks in front of Hale Pau Hana afforded a great variety of fishes and many green sea turtles. Our unit was superb and the other guests and staff were friendly. The location was perfect the assortment of shops & dining right across the street, the incredible veiw & beach top notch! Loved that the pool was fresh water & not saltwater Beds were super comfy! great veiwing of sea turtles, and goregous sunsets!. Well appointed, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Right on the beach. Beautiful sunsets, great snorkeling right out front. Easy walking to restaraunts. Kihei is quite central. The oceanfront view was amazing. The condo was just feet from a secluded beach. The pool was clean and protected from the wind, which made a big difference on the windy afternoons. Loved that all the condos are facing the beach. Loved that it was so close to the beach and within walking distance. Staff was friendly and lots of shops and restaurants close by. we ejoyed everything,it was nice to be in a smaller resort .You got the oportunity to meet others while at the BBQ. accessto the beach is great and it is a good beach. The bech was beautiful. Clean and perfect for snorkeling. We also really enjoyed the laid back location of the resort. Plenty of shops and restraunts right across the street that were very easy to get too and not all the of the fuss if the larger tourist locations. Everyone in the area was very friendly and laid back. Kasper was very helpful I helping us plan our time there. . The view & the beach are so nice, full kitchen with everything you need. The airconditioner in the bedroom was clunky and kept going on and off at random times. We didn't need it, however. We just kept the window open a bit and put the fan on, which was fine. The sound of the waves drowned out the traffic. What is not to like??. Too short a visit. This condo (room 20) really needs to be updated. It was very clean but out of date. They were updating the condo next to ours, so we heard construction almost every day starting at about 8:30am, so at times that kind of ruined the relaxing atmosphere. Pool closes at 8 pm. :( would have loved it if it was open till at least 10 pm. Leaving. Wi-fi connection very weak and patchy. Decor slightly dated. Some problems on arrival;, coffee machine not working as well as fridge not working. However, problems fixed later. Not much water pressure in the bathroom attached to the bedroom. Mold in the washing machine (someone closed the door with some water inside). Dishes were not cleaned properly (so had to use dishwasher immediately on arrival). The elevator is quite dirty, smelly, and small. Someone spilled yogut inside, and it wasn't properly cleaned. staff availability of 10-4:30 if you have an issue or question is limiting. laundry is only open those hours as well. Cleanliness of the facility, if the rooms were cleaned every day would have been very helpful as you could feel the sand whenever you walk bare foot. Other thing that needs immediate attention is the smell in the elevator. It is impossible to breathe in there. Cleaning products at bottom of stairs. Bad chemical smell. We ended up our second half of vacation trying out Kaanapali. Big mistake. Too windy and unfortunately a horrible place to walk out into the ocean. We should of stayed the whole time at Hale Pau Hana. Too many mirrors, especially the one in the kitchen. Nothing. A/C was on motion sensor and only was in the bedroom. The room we stayed in was very dated. Being our first visit, I was hoping for something a little nicer. The couch was so old, I wasn't comfortable sitting on it and the bedroom still had a VHS player. A/C only in bed room, not the living room.
