Staff was amazing - very kind and helpful, highly accommodating. The king suite was way better than what we expected for the price: robes, couch/tv in one room plus king+tv in another, pool, workout room, and breakfast. Situated right next to Buttermilk falls - an Awesome place to hike and sight-see if you want to get a taste of Ithaca's beautiful landscape. Only about a 10-15 minute drive right into the city.

The entire time I was there I felt comfortable; from the moment I stepped into the fireplace-lit entrance (with a visitors library, which was also awesome!) it was a nice place to be. Your staff was so nice and helpful and your hotel is very clean. Love your small touches like coffee and hot cider available and cookies. The kids we hyped and a little noisey at times but the staff was very accomodating. Provided us with the breakfast rm. on Sat. which was a life saver! All employees were friendly and smiled. We'll stay there again next year!. I love the fact that there are two separate rooms so my husband can watch TV all night and I can sleep. I love the breakfast right there first thing in the morning. We had the kitchen suite and it was very comfortable for my husband, myself and our 3 teenage kids. The staff at the desk and housekeeping were extremely friendly and helpful. They didn't have our reservation when we got there so we were lucky the room we wanted was still available. When the hotel was filled, hot water was lacking for a morning shower. The facility is starting to show its age a bit and some things like plumbing are starting to be a bit worn. Receiving a notice in the am that to book directly with the hotel vs through Booking.com. Why?. The price I was quoted was $223 but when I got my bill it was $272. Not happy about the extra $50. A bit expensive for the area. The breakfast could have had more variety to it, but it was good. The only negative was there was a foul odor in the hallway.Luckily it wasn't in the room. Desk staff did not give us correct directions through the many traffic detours in town. I booked 2 room and were on different floors. we were pleased with our stay but if there was one dislike it was the coffee although available all hours it was not a favorable brand, bitter and no cream or milk available only non-dairy creamers. Parking was tight and the snow removal wasn't great. The driveways were not well marked with regards to the snow buildup. The tv was on in the room when we arrived. That seemed a bit strange. The breakfast area was understaffed! The lady did such a great job but thhere were busloads of students and i feel that the staffing could have done better!!. Quite pricey for value received, about $100/day over value Maid service did lite spotty job, did not make bed - told front desk. We were not pleased. More like a motel and not hotel. Very basic with no atmosphere. Very little pool. Very old-fashion and noisy air-condition. I would expect a much lower price for that kind of accommodation. After having failed to service the room one day, front desk fibbed about the cleaning staff having gone home (we later saw them still there and in uniform), and were distinctly unapologetic about the issue. Everyone makes mistakes -- it's the attitude that was annoying. I had reserved a 2 queen bed room since I was traveling with my 18 year old son. Upon entering our room we discovered we were given a king bed suite when asked to correct this we were told they were fully booked and had to move us. Not accetible after arguing with front desk my only option was to take a small discount on the room. Given their over booking with college teams we discovered there were also issues with being accommodated at breakfast. Carpets need to be shampood throughout - no food in hotel - had to order out. Breakfast mediocre.
