I had the canal and sea view with kitchen. Large bedroom with room to move and sit. Front room dining table, coffee table again plenty of room. Good to have a side board at entrance to put items used locally. The Galleria is next door, good shopping and food hall. If you have a kitchen, cross the road to Publix supermarket, the cvs corner store is not worth it and does not even sell bread. The beach district and cafés are just two minutes walk over the drawbridge. Nice pool and bar with water t.
all reviews » The Gallery One was wonderful in every way! The rooms were spotless(I loved the kitchenette and the separate living room), and the staff was attentive to our every need. I also liked the location-a short walk to the beach and right off the waterway. I would stay agai!. Extreemly helpfullstaff ( esp. frontdeskmanager (lady from the evening shift).. Despite calling the valet parking in advance, they only hailed a taxi when I arrived. That meant a taxi was never ready when I wanted, mostly took 10 minutes but sometimes 20 minutes. Ice. Despite the climate, the fridge had no freezer/no ice. Which meant calling down for a bowl of ice. In room airco makes a lot of noise when in use. Air conditioning too heavy.Breakfast and wifi not included (you can get them for "only" 25 USD!). Fortunally there is a business room with 2 computers with internet connection but you can stay only 20 minutes. Needs to have a bit of a revamp in the reception area a little dated, but suites where fine. No store to buy things like bottle water. Crumbs carpet. Nothing. Paying for Internet access does NOT suggest exclusivity. Paying for wi-fi is a thing of the past make it free. The ignorance of the front desk staff who didn't know what the heck was going on. When I asked them about a particular cruise they told me it didn't exist, and was actually something else. We ended up finding out the pertinent information on our own. Choice of tv channels in the room was pathetic. No free wifi in the rooms. No parking other than valet parking at 25 a day. Have to pay for wifi and parking. Room noisy Fridge did not work No frying pan Car parking charges ridiculously pricey. Room on 14th floor noisy from machinery on roof. Staff poorly trained, waitress was taking order then had to run off and answer her mobile phone. Bar had no staff attending, had to go look for staff to come to bar to get served. Valet parking, although staff very attentive, if you come and go 4 or 5 times a day you feel obliged to tip them a couple of dollars, which can work out expensive on top of the cost of parking overnight. I wouldn't stop there again. There was no parking! They basically force you to pay for vallet parking having makin it difficult to come and go as you please. Charge for wifi! Even the lowest motel offers it free!.
