Liked this hotel enough to return to the area just to stay again ! All staff made me feel as if I was the only person staying. The purple free Shuttle bus was a key factor in the success of a stress free stay in an area I did not know. Book in or last minute they would endeavor you reached your destination, in a radius of 5miles. Or free Irvine Airport round trips (what would otherwise be a $11 taxi). Large room, two Queen beds, beautiful bathroom in tones of brown. Design lounge/dine area with.
all reviews » Parking is not inexpensive at $17/night for self-park, but is indeed very convenient with the garage located immediately adjacent to the front lobby. Contrast this with other Costa Mesa/Irvine hotels where the parking lot is quite a distance away. Ask the very friendly and helpful staff about any discounts or specials available to minimize or reduce parking cost. The room itself was also very comfortable, especially the temperature. We never even looked for the thermostat during our entire stay. Great value for money. We stayed there for two nights. Had originally booked three nights but unfortunately had to cancel the first night. Could change the booking very efficiently and when we arrived the front-desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a great room and everything was to our satisfaction. Everything, wonderful warm welcome from Jason at the front desk! We arrived early for a theatre performance but they found us a room, and even an upgrade! Great restaurant/ lounge on the premises and also close to many fine shops and restaurants. Also directly across from the Segerstrom Arts Complex. My daughter and I go every year to the women of Faith Conference in Sept at the Honda Center, The last 2 years we stayed here as it is very comfortable and the staff is great from the doorman to the front desk. Everyone from the moment we walked in gave top service. The restaurant was poorly organized and wait staff not capable of taking an order correctly both times we were in the restaurant, out of stock for most drinks that we ordered. I wish they had the cost list for the water/wine that they had out. Also, I wish they informed us at the front desk that the refrigerator needed a key. The first day, TV was not activated due to the power plug was not fully plugged in; whole period of stay, the refrigerator was not working. That we were staying only one night!. Checkin person gave me a handicape room and did not tell first befor getting my luggage I'm not handicaped.Had to wait til 4:00p to get my room room had an order like an old persons room. pool was dirty bedsheets were worn out restaurant served bad food shuttle service to airport was one of the reasons I booked this hotel; but it was of no value to me as it did not run when I needed to be at the airport (had to get a taxi). Specially the noise inside of the hotel, the stuff give a room in front of banquet hall, totally unaceptable, I couldn't sleep at all, plus I reserve a Jr Suite thinking That I will have more room, I was wrong. The "a la carte" type situation: additional fee for parking, no complimentary parking, fee for WiFi. Bed worn out, uncomfortable. Balcony was a joke, room for 4 people to stand side by side only. No fan in the bathroom, had to open door after shower to defog the mirror, which made the room humid and uncomfortable. No refrigerator to keep beverages cold, had to go out daily for something cold to drink. $100 deposit :/. Them charging me for a room that had a bed that fell in to the middle and was not comfortable and the bath room was out dated and the ceilings in the bathroom were very low as well as the water drained from the shower to the toilet! Not good. I suffered a bedbug attack at this hotel which ruined my experience. The above comment is the kindest thing my family and I can say about this hotel. It definitely was not worth the value or stay.
