  Large picture window overlooking expanse of green lawn bordering wooded area. We were in the building at the back of the property and were not disturbed by the highway traffic. Adequate space in room & very clean. Older, but updated enough to be comfortable. Even carpet felt clean. Cable TV service was good. - Very reasonable and clean and br... what people say » ight. we were in Sparta for a funeral and it was a great place to veg and sleep and near to church etc. The restaurant was great for breakfast. We didn't need a lot of amenities. We just stayed for one night. - Excellent service for both breakfast which was very packed and dinner which was late in evening. Food value was good as was the overall value of the motel. Sure the room was outdated but clean and comfortable which is more important that looks.

Dining room offered nice menu selections. Staff went out of their way to assist us with some unexpected needs and were very accommodating with changes that made things easier for us. Manager wrote letter detailing our situation that eased circumstances outside the hotel.

  This property was recommended to me by several people I know; I was glad when I heeded their advice. I was highly impressed with the interior quality (our room, bathroom, main lobby, etc). I did not utilize any facilities other than main lobby and breakfast, so I cannot speak to that. The staff was kind and accommodating.
