Excellent location next to a great park and within 5 mins walk of Lake Michigan. Transport into city super easy from right outside the hotel or you can walk into the city within half hour. Design of the hotel funky & individual - loved the staff 'uniforms' with the bow ties etc. Great coffee shop attached to the hotel lobby. Excellent breakfast place (Ellys) within 5-10 min walk from the hotel. Staff super friendly and informative (especially Joseph).

The restaurant was good - pricey, but you can grab a bite at the bar. The bartendar provided excellent service. I stayed with a friend and we liked everything about the hotel. The roof top bar is wonderful and fun. Rooms and beds were very comfortable and very clean. bathroom a little small but we had no problem with that. Staff could not have been more friendly. Great stay!. The staff was wonderful and friendly, location was perfect and one of the BEST rooftop Bar's in the city with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan! As a guest of the hotel you get preference and do not need a reservation or have to wait! Loved it!. Great hotel design and theme, lovely and comfortable room although a little on the small side. The staff was really nice and helped us figure out the best way to park our car for the night to avoid any problems, and helped us get a cab which ended up being a really great/smart decision. Elevators were terrible..We were two of three people that got stuck on one of the units. The restaurant could had more of a menu that didn't revolve around a pickle.. Tv programming was missing at least 5 major cable channels. The fan for the heating in the room was noisy and kept going on and off all night. tiny room, no counter space in the bathroom (but the view of the park and lake was a consolation ;). Walls are very thin, so I heard my next-door neighbors all night long for two nights in a row. Not much sleep... The room was just a little bit too small but nice nonetheless. Rooms were small but who wants to stay in room other than 2 sleep. No fridge in room. Thin walls; I was disturbed by noisy neighbors next door from 3-5:30 AM on Fri. night. No call back re shoes that I accidentally left in closet area on check-out. parking was expensive. A little noisy and room on the small side . Elevators were busy and a little slow. Wife injured leg..no room between bed and and chair for older people. Others got nice big rooms for same price.check in gal seemed to search for a small room for us 15 minutes to check in. diminutive room; claustrophobic hallways; dorm-like decorations.
