My sister and I decided to stay at the Hilton Atlanta for Halloween. We received an amazing price through letsbookhotel.com and had a fabulous experience. Checking was fast and easy, the hotel staff truly made us feel at home. The concierge wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us a rundown of all the amenities the hotel had to offer. The room spacious and the beds were like heaven. I paid 59.00 a night and the entire staff, starting with valet parking, treated my father and I like we were spending a thousand bucks a night. The bed was extremely comfortable.The view was nice.The restaurant was nice,food was decent.Portions good for the price.However my boyfriends sweet potatoe fries were cold.Host was extremely friendly.I think his name was John.Went to the restauraunt and not the bar.Waitress was sufficent,not memorable. The shower was the best we've experienced in years at a hotel. Plenty of pressure and plenty of hot water! The executive floor was nice, the breakfast and snacks were plentiful. Kinda pricey on the drinks, but that's typical with a hotel and the captured market syndrome. I stayed in the executive level to attend the sec Championship game, and use of the executive lounge was nice. The continental breakfast the next morning was great. The location was great, and we could walk to and from the events at the Georgia Dome. I like the fact that my room had a view and everything we did was in walking distance. The decoration is very good. Surprisingly, they supply Peter Thomas Roth bath products. Most importantly, I got a super value price from the letsbookhotel.com for a one-night booking at Hilton, Atlanta. The staff are very friendly. Good cost and benefit. Academy for 24h. You can go to at Peachtree Center or to subway station thru some bridges wich link Hilton to another building, this is the great option in case of cold and rainy days. It is a nice hotel with a lot to offer. One of the main features I appreciated was the enclosed cross bridge to the Marriot Marquis hotel in front of it. I was attending a meeting there so I did not have to walk outside at night. We loved the location, the room and the view of the city. The hotel was only 3 blocks from Peachtree St which has Hardrock Cafe on it. It was very clean and check in was quick. We would definitely stay there again!. Nothing. That it does not have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The walls were thin. We could hear everything in the rooms next to us, above us and anyone speaking in the hallway. The price of parking, and the fact that Trader Vic's was closed. On the east side of the building thru the glass elevators there were way to many webs n dust that could be seen through the glass. Being afraid of closed in places, I did not have a pleasant time in the parking garage. Next time, I would pay the extra for valet parking. A 6 foot clearance just did not cut it for me. Nothing. The shower head was broke, the water temp wouldnt adjust, i requested a ground level room, we were given a room on the 18th floor. I had to pay 22.00 dollars a night extra for parking. Parking.... Really $ 21.00. Parking pricey !!. chairs in the lobby bar felt and looked soiled and tired. building design is dated, but...appreciated the new fixtures in the bathroom and elevators.. Paying 21 dollars per day to park in the hotel parking lot. Pool was cloudy, for the money there seems there should be a breakfast offered. Extra unexpected fees, extra fees for internet in room, extra fees for parking. Totally upset that the restaurant downstairs served my son without our permission (he thought it was the free breakfast), they charged us $23.00!. bar service was aweful. Restaurant service poor. Prices high even for Atlanta. Not quite worth the money. No free WiFi No mini fridge No microwave No free breakfast. There was nothing I didnt like. Paying 22 dollars a night to park when I was a guest in the hotel. Paying a high price for parking & being misinformed about the distance to Turner Field by letsbookhotel.com. Bathroom was a little bit cold. There was no fan in the bathroom very foggy. Room seemed cold, heater was loud. Parking was on the high end at $22.00/day, however it was convenient in that we were allowed to enter and leave with using our room key. There wasn't anything I disliked. There was no hotel shuttle and the cabs are rediculously expensive. Nothing. In this day and age no one should be paying for wifi in their rooms. Free wifi was only available in the lobby. Business travellers have come to expect free wifi as part of their stay. Paying for wifi was simply not cool. Guests' elevator and the parking area elevator was kinda far away from each other. I don't have anything negative to say about the Hilton Hotel no complaints. Free wifi only at the lobby area, but not at the rooms. Rooms were not very sound proof. We could hear our neighbours when they came back late one night and they were not being overly loud. I didn't like that we had to pay to park and the thin walls!. I brought my own cooler, the rooms were not equipped with refrigerators. You could get one from the hotel for $25 a day. I visited during the GA marathon so I needed "my certain foods" as a runner. There's only 1 parking garage elevator. Horrible wait during peek check in and check out. We arrived at 8:30 pm an were unable to check in for an hour because the computers were down. The lady at the check in counter was not apologetic about the situation which to me was not the correct way to handle the situation.
