Location and price was key! We went to the Lakers game at the Philips Arena which was 3 minutes away. Talk about convenience! Also the price was extremely reasonable for the location. None of the other hotels could compare to that price with that location. Overall I had an awesome stay and will return next month for the Rihanna concert! It's safe to say you made at true Fan. Keep up the great work!.
all reviews » The staff was wonderful. There was a mishap with my reservation but the front desk lady fixed it immediately and upgraded me to a suite for the inconvience! Security was also helpful on our last night staying! And it very convient to all the attractions we did through our city pass! Loved it. We will return soon!. The staff is great! The location is great! It is fairly close to downtown and Atlantic Station. You get value for your money, walking distance to the Georgia Dome and Georgia Conference Center. Continental breakfast included. I would stay there again without question! Don't expect a 5 star hotel!. Large,clean room, quiet location. Very close to downtown and major attractions. Staff was excellent. We had a plumbing issue late in the evening and the staff moved is to another room the instant it was reported. Great value. I liked that it was very convenient to where we were going. We had tickets to the Georgia Tech football game as well as the Georgia Aquarium and they were very short commutes to both. The hotel was also very spacious. Great value, FREE downtown parking and close proximity to attractions. Staff was awesome! Having a mini-fridge and microwave in the room is nice as well. You can find a good restaurant in front and a fast food and a grocery near. I was allowed to check in early and the room was nicer than I expected. Very close to Turner field. Microwave and fridge in room. The people behind the desk were very nice. Only problem which was not really that bad, was the out of service elevator at night. Seems like something should be done about that. Not that I didn't need to walk up the stairs to the 4th floor but it wasn't something I wanted to do after leaving a game. On our last night, a room above us had some kind of "ladies party" and was walking around in there room very hard that we heard it down in our room. Sounded like horses running but security ended that very quickly when I went up to the front desk to complain. He was quick to resolve the issue. And they have no pool, other than that I have no complaints!. I was in the king deluxe and the bed was too big for the room size. Also,the bed was a hard and uncomfortable. Lastly, the room lacked ventilation; the humidity from the shower would linger throughout the day. If I had any negative feedback whatsoever, it would be the parking. Very limited parking for the hotel. We had to park across the street and walk back to the hotel. Being young and healthy, I didn't mind it but I could see where an elderly person or someone who doesn't move too well would be upset by this. Just wish the hotel served hot breakfast to avoid from purchasing breakfast elsewhere. It took too long for the room to cool down; however, when it did cool it was great. walls are a little thin, so I heard a lot of hallway and room next door talk.the shower operates oddly - you have to fiddle with a ring around the faucet. NOT intuitive. the carpet had a smell - maybe because of age. I didn't like the noise around the hotel but you can't control the traffic around the hotel. We also had a problem with the television. We could only get like 5 channels. Wifi connection very slow. i saw 3 spiders; guess they need to have an exterminator. also, as i read in someone else's review, the shower spray stung. i can tolerate that for a few days. i have been in hotels where the water pressure was too weak and some where there was insufficient hot water--those i can't deal with; at least not well. Inadequate parking as was a busy weekend at the Dome & had to park across the road. Not much. the room next to my room was to loud and the front desk try to take care of that issue, they even other to move me to a nother room if i wanted them to. Surroundings were a little sketchey...was not comfortable walking around without a crowd. It was one block from a "bad" neighborhood. I didn't like the smell in the room, the old worn and in need of repair areas to the floors, doors, and walking areas. The hallways were dim and carpets looked to need cleaning and vacuuming. The hallways and rooms need updating. The rooms were small, seemed more like staying in a small bedroom than a hotel room. A/C units need to be updated. Need more soundproofing from hallway and other room noise. Need better more heavy duty door locks to feel safer. Entrance stairs, and parking. Hard to get a cab in decent time. The sound of the train . Bathroom could have been cleaner i.e. soap scum on pedestal sink where bar of soap would rest and under toilet seat was not clean but both were easily missed areas. Room was oddly configured and dated. can not say anything bad. room could have been cleaner, work on cleaning the telephones in the rooms. Front desk forgot to arrange a cab for me in the morning. Rough end of town. Rooms just need to be updated. The check inn starts at pm and I was traveling from far to get there I had to wonder around before I could check in. At check in had to change our room twice.. it took an hour to check in.. hotel needs major upgrade.. breakfast consisted of cold cereal and stale Danish no flesh fruit of any kind... Surrounding area-could be a tad shady at night. They left the teller no change for shift. Distance to turner field was further then listed. The wireless Internet signal was low and unreliable in my room. No light in room closet Shower head makes water come out too hard and hurts skin After shower, water in tub stopped up Only one bottle of hair conditioner provided for 4 people; did not have more available at front desk. Hotel said breakfast was included but it didn't mention it was just continental. Very limited options. It's not so good if you haven't a car. There was a huge cockroach in my room and when I mentioned it to the staff when I checked out all they did was laugh about it. Carpet going into bathroom was beyond worn, it looked like a dog had dug and chewed on it. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom. I had to ask the desk for one. They did supply one but I think they just took it out of another room. The carpets in the hallways were really dirty. Looked like something had been rolled down the hall that was leaking oil. We only stayed one night so it wasn't really that bad but if I had been there even 2 nights it would have been an issue. Little food choice near the restaurant. Room wasn't cleaned on day 2. Breakfast choices were virtually non-existent - very poor breakfast. Tv connection stopped and we couldn't get it back.
