  The room was big and I liked that it was fixed up nicely, the staff was very friendly and I like it that they talked to you, had a nice smile and gave us extra towels when we needed them. I also said there was a couple of things wrong and they thanked me for bringing it up to them so that they can fix it, I would stay there again. - This was a p... what people say » leasant surprise as I was not expecting much with the low budget rate.   Simple and quiet. A bit dated but overall ok. The classic american motel in a very quiet area. Pretty close to Sunset Beach and Huntington Beach. Lots of stores just across the street..including Taco something, Starbucks, a grocery store...cleaner, nails, barber...gas station and others. Location was close to large shopping malls; room was comfortable & they brought in a fridge for us when the ice machine broke down.   The staff was friendly and did get us into another room after the air conditioner failed to work. Location was nice, near shopping. Bed was comfortable. - The bed and pillows were surprisingly very comfy and soft.

  the cost for the room was very reasonable. - The evening clerk was very nice and on point but not very concerned with the problem but he did refund our money so it sorta worked out other than it took an hour further to find another room
