I came to Ras Al Khaimah on holiday and stayed in the Ras Al Khaimah Hotel for the whole month of June 2013. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, it was wonderful!!! I will definitely stay in this hotel again. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and that everything was to my satisfaction. The location of the hotel is excellent - it is situated near the corniche (you can walk from the hotel to the corniche), near rak Mall, near Kuwaity street and near t.
all reviews » I liked the room size. The most important thing I liked is that there is no liquor served in that hotel and it does not have a night club. It is a perfect match for a family and easily accessible to the shopping areas. It is a value for money. This hotel has the facities and standards you would expect from a much more expensive hotel. The swimming pool is fantastic and the location on the top of the hill lovely. Hotel driver was excellent taking us to our next destination. Was a nice clean hotel, staff were friendly and helpful.. Was a bit outdated but was spacious and very rrestful which was just what we were needing. We loved the fact it is set up high and the views are incredible. Excellent value at Dhs139+ for a lovely double room with view of corniche. Good value buffet meals too. Handy gym, nice pool and good spa with relaxing massage by Sonia. The Staff in the reception and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good considering the reasonable rate we had paid for our stay. The only thing i dont like is that they do not give complimentary water bottles and nor there is a coffee maker machine as other hotels provide. In the complimentary breakfast, there is no varieties as what I used to get in the other hotel during my stay in Bur Dubai. The rest everything is upto the mark. A bit outdated. No tea-making facilities. No alcohol, both of which I knew before booking. Poor English TV selection, only two channels. No kids TV channel. Mountains were not visible. Bed was horribly uncomfortable and incredibly small. No kettle in room? Whats that about?. There should be more TV channels. Also the fact that internet is chargable in rooms is extremely inconvenient. As the hotel is old, the elevator is also old andscary. Please put a sticker that shows its last maintanence and its next maintenance due so people can relax. no drinking water in the room no tea making facilities in the room breakfast too many eggs and processed meats for a non egg eater:-(. The furniture and the interiors of our room shows it age. Needs renovation. No late check was allowed. I had to keep my young children in the lobby unattended to pray Friday's prayer because they didn't allow us a one hour late check out. No alcohol either in the restaurant nor in the mini bar. It would be nice if the hotel were redecorated. lady night staff not very friendly. when I am asking for location, she had given complicated information prompting me to call the hotel 3x for exact location. the next shift guy (7:30 pm) was friendlier. No bellboy insight to offer help during check-in. The elevator lift so very small, if family of 3 checking in with luggages, one lift is not enough! not enough TV channel (English). I want small sofa for my 10 years old daughter but not included my pre reservation . Hotel is old, and it shows in every thing you see. Maintenance is not adequate and cheap. They were not willing to adjust the breakfast times to a later time, even though most of their guests for the weekend were runners. No coffee and tea ficilaties in the room. The towels were old and disgusting. You definately only get what you pay for. Matraze was stone hard. The furniture appears to be quite old, but was clean and ok. A little "facelift" would do the Hotel well. Old fashion hotel: needs refurbishing Dry hotel: cannot drink a beer... - the smeely room which we couldnt fighure out where its coming from - the semi- jamed closet door and drawers. cheap stuff painted to look new. - the spotted bathroom floor and tub which made the wife frantic about using it along with the towels offered. - the amazing breakfast scene we witnessed with one waitress serving 20+ tables alone , shortness of food, dis-organized seating , angry guests. that was enough for us to cancel the other two nights and check out the next day. No much attractive scenery Furniture is old. Some room very small and looks old compared before,. Swimming Pool, Meals Timing. 1- This hotel is No longer as it used to be, Be careful! The stuff are friendly but helpless and rude in someway. 2- smells old and not clean. 3-Old furniture from 80s never been changed! 4- The blanket looks awful they try to hide it with two white sheet from in and out. is this hotel 4 stars huh?. No free drinking water in the room. there is no tea, coffee, water kettle in room. No water in the room, the fridge not stocked, breakfast quality and spread inadequate.
