We were very pleased with the hotel - the staff were particularly helpful, the apartment excellent in facilities, servicing and cleanliness. The pool was great as it was 42 degrees in Dubai. The hotel was within a 10 minute walk of the nearest very large A/C shopping centre with a supermarket. As we had been away for 5 weeks prior, this apartment was great to relax in and spend our last few days.
all reviews » Location, View, Facilities, Excellent one bedroom suite, attention of staff - even gave me a birthday cake on my birthday - must have seen the date from my passport on check-in, easy to walk to the creek and see the sights without having to use a taxi.the staff were extremly helpful eg booking restaurants for us for dinner, suggesting daytime activities and once when we couldnt get a taxi they sent a car to collect us at the Gold Souk. it was also very central to Dubais many attractions. Near to airport and very efficient check-in late at night. Room has extremely well equipped kitchen and amazing bathroom. Very good value for money. Would recommend highly.The respect for pricacy, the pool and gym facility and the friendly attitude of the staff....5 star! and it is easy walking to the Dubai Creek ferry facilities. The service quality of the hotel staff is fantastic! The room is perfectly clean and beautiful! Conveniently located, will definitely return!. The location of the Hotel as it is currently situated, is in the midst of a construction area. Lots of building activity going on just outside your window. Also, food and provision shopping is accessable via the City Centre Mall but it is very difficult to get to because of all the building activity in the area. Howeve, this is not the fault of the Hotel. People just need be aware.The shuttle service to the Airport is not very clearly advertised, it ends up most of the time that you have to take a taxi. The general problem of Dubai: construction work going on everywhere, day and night. Would be nice to have tea, coffee and milk provided seeing there is a kitchen in your room.nothing except the transport is difficult at that area and in Dubai as a whole. iron plug is Euro- type not sutable for the british socket type, the Microwave is not good and no transport to the Trade center exhibition as transport in Dubai is very bad as a whole and the organising commity for the exhibtions in Dubai trade center did not take in consideration the trouble tha forigners face to reach to there destination when the exhibtion close down in the evening most of the hotels has their own transport to the exhibtion but not this hotel. Hotel taxi driver refused to give a reciept for an overpriced trip. Hard to get a taxi there.Internet charges are over rated. There was a construction going on in the building opposite to the hotel. Receptionists upon arrival were correct but not particularly friendly. That did not affect my satisfaction about the stay.Constructions around the hotel. Not all taxi drivers know this hotel so ensure that you have good directions to get back from wherever you are going (a map, or know the road names/directions). internet paid!! it's too expensive. restaurant food a bit average but no big deal because plenty of good eating options in walking distance. I would suggest they make their shuttle bus available for more trips to town as taxi's are hard to find. Just the smell of cigarate smoke despite we requested for a non smokingroom. Lobby is bit dull looking.Bracelet girlfriend disappeared from room so better use the safe!. Construction work posite the hotel. service takes long time. car parking too tight. We requested for a non-smoking room but the smell of tobacco is present. The management has to pay attention on this. The noise coming from construction site near the hotel.Staff. There was a urine smell coming from the toilet for some reason, althoughit looked clean. I think they have problems with the plumbing need to befixed. Laundry service not prompt. Check out time is too early being 12noon and was hard to extend the check out time.The balcony of my apartment was not cleaned and was very dusty, so we could not enjoy the nice views and relax in it. no building work. no free internet in the lobby area - internet card is applicable for one hour from your first using it. Instead all the hotels in Dubai has license to sell alcoholic drinks,this must be the sole that not have license to serve Alcoholic Drinks.Not serve alcoholic driks. WIFI was expensive and with small download limit. I was expecting wifi to be included in the price. reciption staff, he was very sad not welcoming.
