The level of service was like no other I have experienced in a hotelbefore and the restaurants and breakfast buffett had a deliciousselection of food. Pleasant staff in Chelsea Pub, at reception, and in the restaurant for breakfast.we got upgraded to the executive floor. Friendly staff, good location.Friendly environment. Check in was quick and efficient and they accomodated my early arrival (1 hour before the listed 1500 check in - which is late for some standards). Also the check in clerk was also helpful with airport transfer advice saving me 200 AED!! Cannot ask for better!.

Staff very friendly and helpful to my wife when I had to leave her in the hotel whilst I went away for three days on business. We hadto move our room some hours later when they managed to get one. Why isit always so difficult to get a twin room organised in advance!. staff were so warm and friendly. The staff make alot of effort to ensure one has a comfortable stay. They are also flexible with check-in time as one's flight may arrive very early in the morning before the check-in time. The comodoty room will ensure that people who have been there once to come again and stay at the hotel. The comodoty room is also very useful for the bussiness and professional guests. The hotel location was very near to Sooq Naiyef and Riggah Road.Well located. We stayed in the Towers, so having breakfast, all day refreshments and happy hour all on our floor was really appreciated. Hotel restaurants were very good. Great Pool and Spa area. i like the services and the choiceseof the resturants in the hotel. The near and easy ascces. The interior design was good and that gives some confidence and comfort. The location was very central and the view from the room was lovely. Clean room, close to my places of interest. The restaurants. no major things can be notice except the main lobby. Maybe if anything...long delays in taxi availability but this isn'treally the hotels fault. There was an unpleasant smell in my room. I chose to remain in the room because I liked the view from the window. It also took a long time to check out as there were not enough staff to handle all the guests who were checking out.Beware of the additional 20% city tax and service charge applicable to all Dubai hotel bookings. It is a small point but the staff in the fitness centre could be a little more pleasant. They answered all questions but were rather abrupt and less than friendly. I guess we all like to speak to pleasant people when we travel. That said fitness centre is modern and spotless clean!. Room wasn't ready+ Key-cards didn't work (= two trips back down to reception, family waiting in corridor). Couldn't open any window to enjoy the noise/bustle of the Creek. The bar was rather noisy for other than sports and loud drinkers. The lobby is very pleasant. Upon arrival we had to request the bathroom to be cleaned once more. On the second day we had to request the room hall to be cleaned once more. In both instances cleaning took place within 30minutes of the request. We considered this a satisfactory and customer friendly solution. the resturantes !!!. internet is to expensive.. limited options.. the vip lounge was not very comfortable.In spite of the fact we paid cash at the check out my Bank card wasdebited by the total amount of the Invoice. Process is going on now. Unable to obtain a copy of the Bible to meet my needs when requested - I cannot believe this is happening at an international hotel with such a high reputation and name!. No smoking area! Actualy they have one but u have to order a lunch!!. When I did my booking I have asked for a room with creek view and I have efforded to pay more inorder to get this facility ,but unfortunatly ,they didnt provide the expected room nor didnt explain when I did the check in that its not possible to have it .( I dont think I would like to repeat this experience again).Location for a tourist (2 day stopover) was out of the way. Stay near the Marina instead. I could not fault the hotel apart from the location. Check in procedure was very slow, as was the check out procedure. Thesedays of computers one would expect it to be faster! When we arrived inVenice at a suburban hotel, for instance, it was a good old fashionedsort of check in and took only a couple of minutes.No negatives applicable to this hotel , a bit expensive if on a budget. Bit expensive for what it was. The kind of restaurant was poor. Only italian, hint and japan. I did not like my credit card blocked for 7 days in the event of me using the mini-bar. I also did not like having to pay for international newspapers.did not cater for specified dietary needs. manner of some staff - concierge - could be abrupt. breakfast was too expensive and should have been included in the room rate. Staff professionalism to be improved. Acceess by car was not very easy. Towers Lounge too small. Check in could have been smoother.no- maybe the main lobby was a little too dark/cool to sit comfortably but a haven when 35+!. long waiting for the hotel stav at the airport to pick-up us. The room had a strange moisture smell that is undesired to humans. The hotel is very old. The excersize room was terrabely under expection. They need to put more exersizing equipment. No, on the whole the staff were very keen to be of assistance.That is not to many people. 1- the internet service was really expensive and slow 2- Choices ofrestaurants was little 3- there is no spa or swimming pool or somethingyou spend some time in. they damaged my dress during drycleaning and offered 1/10 of the value if I left the dress with them stating it was hotel policy however I was not entitled to see the policies. I was told quite bluntly that it was not necessary for me to see the policies they just applied. Staff at front desk, the cafes and restaurants are an inch away from been rude.Took a really long time to check out. Their pos machines did not work,they also charged me twice!! Not the level of service I would expect... the main fountain in the middle of the hotel make noise during sleeping hours? i'm wondering about acoustic of the rooms (very poor).
