I made use of the gym, it was nice though not fully equipped as things like skipping rope was missing, overall it still served the purpose. the bar downstairs was also good as they served alcohol hence no need to look elsewhere. The location was fantastic as initially I choose al barsha buy but Dubai gave better access to other good and not expensive malls asides mall.of emirates and the others. The metro was not far away and 15mins walk will get you there.
all reviews » This was an excellent value for money hotel. Felt maybe a little bit B-class, but had everything you would need. Clean, a lot of staff in reception, bar, restaurants, pool... Overall all good! If/when we get back to Dubai we could stay at this hotel again. Good location, 10min walk to nearest metro, 10min walk to Bur Juman shopping centre. Free shuttle to Dubai mall and beach.Congratulations. Excellent Hotel. It is well located, seven minutes far from Al Karama metro station. Realy nice Gym. Internet free. Easy going staff. We have stayed at the other Dubai City Max and loved it, so we tried this one this time. We loved it more! Especially the Sport's Bar, live band and Claypot Indian restaurant. Easy to explore Old Dubai, souks, Wafi Mall and the Creek from here. Taxis are so cheap but there is a bus stop outside. Will use again. The staff is really nice considering the amount of people that stay at this hotel from so many different countries. Also, the gym and pool are clean and lightly used so I could get in and out quickly. The location provides easy access to all parts of Bur Dubai, Downtown and Jumariah. Good facilities such as Restaurants, Bar, Room service, Inroom safe, Free Internet, Tea/Coffee amenities, Clean room, Clean bathroom, Clean Linen, Swimming pool at roof top...all for minimum reasonable price.....great service.....very polite and friendly staff.... :). great staff, they allowed me to watch the Formula 1 race at 10 am in their sports bar even though the place only opens in the afternoon, then the waitress brought coffee and pastries, you can tell they know about empowerment of staff in this place. The location is pretty good, not to far from the airport and about 10 min walk or short taxi ride to the Skytrain/Metro. Restaurant, Bar and Coffee Shop in the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lobby is always crowdy Reception takes too much time for processing even there are 6 counters. The door card didnt work during the first time. Had to go down and change it. A lot of taxi/limo drivers waiting at the entrance and making a crowd. Tea/coffee making facility was lacking in choices and items. The fact security had to ask me a million times where I am going to at the basement despite repeatedly mentioning I am a guest there. Rooms are small. Lobby always crowded and noisy, Staff at lobby had very poor customer service, laissez faire attitude towards customers. no comments. -Water is offered only first day if you're staying more than one day . - No nearby metro station - No bellboy service,it's all self service.You have to take your own bags to your room. مشكله الغرف كانت صغيره جدا تقريبن مناسبه لشخص واحد للغرفه. The dividing walls between the rooms were a bit thin and you could hear everything going on around you. Long wait to checkin and checkout No free wifi in the rooms (wireless). some of the light switches inside the room were not working, limited tv channels. internet is not free (20 aed per hr is very expensive) staff reminded/called over phone check out time even if i am inside the bathroom (can not wait, no ethics),. Some staff. First impression of early check-in was a bit poor. Got an impression no one was bothered and lacked enthusiasm to want to help. Once highlighted, later realised things has dramatically improved which has raised our previous opinion of the hotel completely. Customer Srvice - keep it up :)xx. That's where they make the difference up on the low cost rooms. The Russian patrons don't mind paying this extortion, but many are offended. Chaotic traffic management at the Taxi drop off. The staff called me more than 7 times to confirm my arrival time and to confirm the reservation. This was annoying and unprofessional. Beds were small for a guy of my frame. I am 6'2. Gym had very basic equipment. Lobby was too crowded like an airport. N/A. The room is small. They don't give complimentary water except during check-in. Problem with the airport pick-up communication. Although everything was arranged through email, we waited at the airport, we called at the hotel, we finally got a taxi! Mixed up!.
