The staff made our stay at Citymax very enjoyable. The reception staff were very helpful on arrival and friendly. The porter's were vey nice and helpful, nothing was to much bother for the staff in general including the diningroom staff. Our room was cleaned every day and was very comfortable, we were on the 13th floor eventhough we do not smoke, we found it very quite and the bed was very comfortable. My overall opinion of the Citymax Hotel is nothing but positive and we will definitely stay t.
all reviews » Excellent location. Right beside the Mall of Emirates and stop for the hop on bus tour. The room was clean and comfortable accomodating our needs. There was construction work being carried out outside the hotel which seems to be happening in most areas around the city, but we were woken quite early. Just something to be aware of. The staff were helpful. We had a an issue on check out regarding our bill but this was quickly resolved by a manager and that was at 6am. Bar and restaurant grand and . The hotel is so close to Emirates Mall which is so convenient to have anything you need around you! Which also good for those who like to shops a lot and to go back to hotel and drop the goods and to go for the next round of shopping (if you have extra energy)! And it was also value for money to stay in Eid Holiday Season! We had a great time staying in Dubai with full of joyful shoppings & entertainments!. We were a group of friends staying for a night. The location was great, within minutes of the Mall of the Emirates and close to Dubai Marina where we were headed. Good value for money, with plenty of restaurants in the area. The hotel has a good Sports bar and a Music bar. We will definitely recommend this hotel as well as the other Citymax in Bur Dubai if you plan on spending more time downtown!. Perfect location! 2 minutes away from Mall of emirates on foot. Also close to skytrain inside the mall. Very good buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely , quiet pool. Room very nice. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. international plug adapated to all kinds of plugs ( very convenient if you forget your adaptor like me). Shuttle buses to beach. Location is great, within walking distance to Mall of the emirates and metro station. Room are clean,not big but nice and comfortable and you have free tea and coffee and a kitter. Essentia La posizione e' ottima, mall of the emirates e relativa stazione metro, raggiungibile a piedi. Le stanze, non enormi, sono pulite e confortevoli e dotate di bollitore e te e caffe' solubile. Location of the hotel was perfect for our needs.It is close to Mall of Emirates and also to metro station so you can easily visit other parts of Dubai. Hotel offers free shuttle bus to beach which we have used also once and it is a great service as you can not go there with the metro. Swimming pool is well maintained,situated on the top of the hotel and with great views. Excellent Value for Money when you compare it to other hotels in Dubai! The hotel is in a great location - right across the street from the Mall of the Emirates. It was a very nice, clean room and the rate was excellent given the location. VERY close to Mall of Emirates and metro. Free parking. I always stay at Citymax when in Dubai. The waiters were really nice and the food was decent and not expensive. We've been able to check out at 12 am, that's not very common, and it gave us a little more time to get our stuff in order before leaving. The location is strategique, you can go whenever you want, and its next to Emirates mall only 3 min walk, also tramway near can take you everywhere, and in the night you can walk and explore the area. The hotel is in a very good location, just across the street from Mall of Emirates. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. hi i had aproblem that nobody came while check out to pick up my bags from the room,i carried my self to the reciption. Good location. The room was always clean. It was great that the pool was open until 9pm, great for evening swimming :). The only drawback was we are both non smokers and there is no where to eat within the sports bar that is non smoking. For that reason we did not eat there. -Free wifi is only in the medium size of lobby which made it full of ppl siting there! -The smelly odor in the hallway between rooms needs to be solved! :s -The back side of the hotel is still having a construction which made it bit noisy if you are easily bothered while you're still sleeping in the morning!. construction works nearby, noise from 7:30 am. free internet only in lobby. Price of drinks. 1. Free wifi in lobby only. 2. impossible to use viber phone system with poor/weak wifi signal. 3.One taxi outside hotel overcharged. 4. Difficult to get good restaurant in area - mostly fast food outlets. 5. hotel food ok but became tiresome. No free wifi in the rooms, no slippers, limited tv channels, somotimes construction noise and small toilet. No complaints - everything was great. -breakfast is no value for money -pool opens at 8am, which was too late for me, 2 years before it opened at 7am, which was much better -housekeeping is coming too late, sometimes at 3pm -quality of food is very good, but no choice of fruits (only melons) -more people working at reception would be helpful, as it was always crowded. Looking forward to free wifi in rooms - only in lobby! Only 1 500ml bottle of water for stay. Each parking is really small. There wasn't a bath mat and when we took a shower the water was all over the bathroom (even because there was no door in the shower..). All rooms are the same size. Proce of the drinks...ouch. Wireless is at big charge in room but free cable. We would have liked a couple of easy chairs in the room to sit on, but other than that we had no issues with Citymax Hotel Al Barsha. No free wifi, they had free wi fi in the lobby but you had to pay for it in the rooms. Nothing. Noisy neighbors (the matter of lunch I think, not the hotel mistake) , elevators take too long to wait , specially in the morning. Smoking in the Bars, which then the smoke came into the lobby. If wifi was free in rooms it would been perfect. We ask staff to fix internet connection in room, they came 2 times, and said that IT guy will come.. nothing happens ! 10 days we were without internet. Not much. I'd have liked the pool to be open longer. It's a bit small room with no kitchen. Nothing. Nothing that I did not like. I was there only for two nights and my expectations were limited to what I would expect to experience in a no-frills business hotel. In-room Wi-Fi was extra, but free in the lobby. It is a long metro trip into the centre of Town. No information about the pool area and other facilities inside the elevators. Thin walls, we were woke up by noise from the next room. Parking area: parking areas should have more signage of how to get to lifts and have more lighting. 1. Not kind enough. They only had 1 bottle of water when we first checked in, even though they knew we're two and they didnt replensh after the first night. 2. Room service staff always looking for tips, for even cleaning your room. 3. Tv channels assortnment can be better. 4. Rooms are considerably small. was nothing. Too far from older and more interesting part of Dubai (if you don't find shopping malls interesting!). Carpet or moquette in 3rd floor corridoor have some smell i dis like,it may be not bad for others,but like the hotel and better to check the floor. The cigarette smell in the lobby.
