We enjoyed the setting of the hotel with very nice views. We had a sea view room but the view to the other side was also very good (pool, beach etc). The Waterpark, swimming pool, full day lounge, excellent kiddioes club, aquarium as well as several excellent onsite restaurants made it unnecessay to travel into Dubai frequently. The room and room service was excellent and efficient at all times. The rooms were clean neat and well kept. A definate recommended option for families that is wil.
all reviews » Atlantis was one of the best hotels that we have ever booked. The hotel itself was magnificent and the facilities second to none. The staff were extremely helpful and we had a wonderful stay. In terms of value for money our room charge also included the water park, the aquarium and also day long snacks and drinks - which came in useful since we were there during Ramadan. We highly recommend it and would only stay there when we go back to Dubai. From the room to the many entertainment options, from the service and kind staff to the many fantastic restaurants: everything is absolutely excellent! Tips: book an imperial club room or suite and enjoy the many extras! If you go during Ramadan, make sure you obey the country-rules by not eating or drinking anything in public areas! (inside the hotel only allowed in restaurants, swimming pools, water park, lounges and room). One of the best hotels on earth ! Everything up to standards and even higher , great design and eye catching decors everywhere. Views from the rooms is spectacular. Room is superb and high tech controlled . We liked the facilities and the idea that there are so many things in one place ,, like the water park , the kids club , the beach and the pool , the coffee and the sheesha , the aquarium , the hotel shopping center , the many resturants , and others. "luxury" isn't really the word to describe the Atlantis Palm; "Amazing", "Total Fantasy", and "Incredible" are better adjectives. The queues at reception for checking in & out are annoying & take away for the 5 star experience. I thought this hotel was perfectly clean until I found one dead cockroach under a tissue box. adnan at the reception is to avoid, he is the only negative point in this hotel. Having to leave for the airport..would have loved to stay longer. One never feel like to go out of hotel to venture Dubai. Soooooo expensive!!! Its a rather impersonal hotel due to its size and over the top pricey, especially the dining options. I requested a small baby bath tub or even a bucket for my baby to take bath - was refused!!! Can you imagine this? Wireless was charged extra even though it was initially advertised as part of the package. Staff is excellent and courteous but very obviously they are under-staffed due to which staff seems "on the edge". Room had musty odour to room couldnt get over it! Can get very busy in lobby amd often have to queue up for help at reception.....a small price to pay for a happy stay!. Maybe just too big - no personal touches. Tv screen displayed wrong name on arrival and we had a 4:00am wake up call that we didn't order!. prices a little higher for food. No mini market or pharmesy are close Price is high bit worth it!! Some rooms view are not what you expect. It is really far from city, and the room is not up to the standard that we were expecting in terms of furniture, it could have been more fancy. Hotel was fully booked and late check-out was not permitted. Dinning in the hotel is quite expensive. That wifi was an additional cost. Reception desk staff was a bit unprofessional. we were five family members including two young you kids (ages 6 and 3). I booked two connecting rooms, where as at the time of check in I was given two rooms which were quite far away from each other. The matter was resolved by me insisting to see the duty manager and she confirmed that connecting rooms will be available after a while. food and drinks were a little expensive. No enough staff in reception and thus always delay in check in & out and delay in answering guests' inquiries. Very expensive shops and restaurants. bed sheets were polyester with cotton,check-in was slow,my booking was non smoking room and the room smells really bad then the other room's wash basin's drain pipe was blocked ans also the flush tank was not operating properly. Did not like the smell of the carpet hallway on the 3rd floor I think water and carpet don't mix, I suggest that carpet hallways should not be in a beach and water environment hotel. One time only room service left one trash can full in my room ,they forgot to pick it up. Aquaventure was amazing except for the bathrooms next to the splashes was very very bad it smells so bad that me and my. kids almost threwup. I was shocked that a resort like this has very poor bathroom cleaning. * many of the staff are Chinese's who really don't know English well, difficult to communicate * many staff looks like a Robot machine, can't do anything when you need help or support * They not trust the quest, it is visible which make a big gap to like the place * Price not worth, can pay less price at more interested places. Internet is not free,Check in takes long time. That the breakfast wasn't included in the price As amazing the variety was, it was expensive at 45-50 aud ea.

Important information to guests

Please note that the property will go through renovations from 4th July 2017 until 4th July 2019. To ensure minimal impact to the guest’s experience, work will take place 50 rooms at a time, floor by floor. Please note that it is mandatory that all guests physically present an original Passport or Emirates ID upon check-in. A Tourism Dirham Fee of AED20 per bedroom per night is applicable and will be collected upon check-out. Proposed VAT rate and implementation is pending legislation in Dubai. Please note that guests who book the Imperial Club Room and want to use the airport transfer services must book their transportation 48 hours in advance.
