The best thing about this hostel is the location. It is right off the main shopping pedestrian street of Odessa, Derobavskaya. So many restaurants, bars, supermarkets, even the opera house are just a block away. The place feels very secure for being in such an urban location. The owner is fairly involved so there is great rapport with guests. The staff let me in though i arrived at 5am in the morning. Many great benefits to staying here. all reviews »
Good staff, perfect place. Certainly worth it's money.
The place is very cramped. I stayed beginning september so place was fully booked. They even put some people up in the common room one night. Every inch of available space is utilized to the point where it almost feels claustrophobic. The bathrooms are new but very small, the sinks are tiny, and get dirty quickly because of all the traffic. Perhaps so much so that I didnt feel like they were maintained adequately. The cleaning girl looks overworked.
Hard to find as deep inside the building - need to call to reception for the first time.
