I just spent a week at SPA Hotel Maristella (Oct. 11-18). This hotel is very close to the beach so the location is ideal for warm and swimming weather. It was already too cold for that, so I spent most of my free time taking taxis to the city. That's about 20 minutes away and about $10 each way. If you stay at the hotel you can use their spa services or use the pool or gym. They are excellent and primarily why I chose this hotel. The manager, Ilona, is excellent. Some of the massages were very good, the classic massage by a woman and the aqua massage was very good. The cleaners everywhere were excellent. Relaxed atmosphere at Spa. Room 301 with larva terrace and fantastic sea view. Hotel standing almost on the beach. Pool and gym on site. Tasty restaurant. Fully recommended as a stay in Odessa when you want sea and beach end sport facilities. For city sightseeing calculate use of taxi or tram. Some massages were not good. It will be good if someone can take you through the hotel on arrival, showing the Spa, the gym, telling the visitor how things work, where you get towels, where is the locker rooms, etc. Most of the staff there speak poor english. The do not have an outdoor swimming pool. No kettle in the room. Strange smel from wardrobe in the room. Overpriced given season and location. Construction site just right in the front. Every time you have to remind to change bad sheets in the room. Too noisy in the rooms due to poore noise prevention. No iron and ironing board. Wear out condition of the rooms. Stinky closets. Important point: the 4th floor is smoking only. Dont let them fool you by offering non smoking room on the 4th floor. Not even getting close to how a 5 star hotel should be!!!.
