I enjoyed my stay and found it easy to get on with the staff who on the whole were very helpful.My Russian language is shocking but the staff helped with my needs. Really nice and supportive stuff. Nice view from the window (I had a room in the 10th floor and saw all the city and as well the see). Reception staff spoke reasonable English and were knowledgeable about their city ie good advise on which restaurants to visit.
all reviews » Fast and free wi-fi. Good English speaking staff. Distance to city center (15 min. of walk). Every think is very good room ,stafs serves and pepol it very nice thank yours. Great location, good price, clean, friendly stuff. Location, good food in the restaurant. it's an old sovietic structure that need hardly to be renovated. Positive items are: location (500mt from central station and 5 min. walking from the real city center) and rate (if compared to other hotels of same category in town). Staff speak a good english. Don't expect too much more, but for Odessa it's enough... A fairly short walk from the main railway station. Reception staff were efficient. Comfortable clean room. Breakfast was an extra 100UAH but this was reasonable value. Convenient for various amenities - city and beach within walking distance Wi-fi available in all areas and no noticeable dropout. good location, freindly staff, cleaning and change of towels every day. waterpool and location are 2 big pros of the hotel. Daily rate & GYM. A suitable location: walking distance to get the railway station, governmental buildings, a centre of city. Not much. The restaurant staff is nice. nothing. a lot of free rooms at midnight /not many guests Odessa for sightseeing. It's a bit dated but nice and clean. Hotel needs some reconstructions, change of furniture etc. (everything is pretty used). I had a superior junior suite which on reflection to other hotels I have stayed at in the Ukraine was rather small. Doesn't really feels like 4 star hotel. The carpet in room looks dirty. There was no water at 8.30 in the morning. Optional breakfast is expensive (100 UAH). Room had problems about toilet and shower. Smell in the bathroom. Extremely disappointed to find that despite listing 6 or so Ukrainian beers in the restaurant menu only Corona & Carlsberg were available. No update of rooms from 3 years ago, when I stayed there before. old communist type of hotel, needs renovation. Room size & the setup of the double beds. It is faraway from the sea. No one smile from the staff during two days of stay. Old fashion, unsuitable, soviet stile of facilities and furniture. A desk lamp and a wall clock did not work. I successfully killed one cockroach. You need to pay to use a luggage room for a couple of hours. A security boy tried to forbid me to sit in a lobby after my check-out while I was waiting for my transport. price/quality relation is bad unfriendly reception staff extreme small room and very old bathroom. two beds rectangular instead of double (difference to photo) beaches bad and overcrowded. I stayed at the hotel according to my reservation. The hotel charged me a cancellation fee and charged me for the reservation in full. When I called to dispute, they told me they do not speak English or Russian (only Ukrainian). When I was there, they spoke both English and Russian fluently. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card.
