The location was great with the hotel situated in a park, buses ran along the street in front of the hotel and the metro underground was about a 15 minute walk away and is quite cheap & fast travel. All the staff were excellent and did their best to speak to me in English.The breakfast, that was included in the price was huge, with a big selection of hot food or one could just have a Continental. My room was of good size and serviced every day and for the price I don't think that one could .
all reviews » The customer service in the hotel and dining room was great. The hotel is lovely and is surrounded by a park. There is a Metro stop very close by so sightseeing in down town is convenient. The value is superior because the hotel is not right down town but it is very convenient to it. The Metro is cheap and easy to use. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious. We had a party there and they handled everything beautifully for a group of 15 guests. I can say all goods things about our s. We arrived very early and the staff without being asked hurried up the cleaning of the room and got us booked in - which was very thoughtful. Room large. Location outside centre of city but not too far. Busy location but as there is a small park surrounding hotel the environs was quiet and peaceful. Food in restaurant was excellent. It would be nice to have tea & coffee making facilities in the room, also some hanging space, I like to hang all my shirts & pants on hangers. There was quite a good sized wardrobe in my room, but no hanging space, only two small hooks with one coathanger on each, I'm sure that it would be easy enough to fit a rod inside it? They are only minor points,but would certainly help to make a stay more pleasurable. Breakfast was basic and during the 20 minutes I was there they did not refill any plates even though many were empty so I could not choose. Although room was large there was no bath only a shower. Restaurant is operated separately so you cannot charge food to the room. The stuff is not friedly and professional enough. That is one thing I didn't like in this hotel. There was no cattle in luxe room, had to phone and ask for a pot of hot water every time needed to make baby formula for child. At the breakfast service was poor... The breakfast selection is rather narrow and way too obvious. A water heater (tea/coffee) would would be nice. The hotel is far from the centre of the city, and except the park, in the neighbourhood there is nothing to see and nowhere to go. Anyway, there is a fast and cheap metro and taxi are also cheap so the centre is easily reachable. breakfast is poor and service is very slow and you need to warn them and ask them ...food is very good but restaurant is mismanaging with slow service , and always reserved for local people and they do not add to the hotel bill which is not very logical. Poor breakfast, no intl. (actually 1) TV channels. a Little bit rude staff. It is a general thing in Ukraine, but i still find it very un-attractive. Poor breakfasts. poor breakfast.
