Very good hotel,perfect service,very good location,very fast internet,big room ,good furnitured. They don't have a phone in the room,the bed is very noisy,not very stabile ...have a litlle problem ,but the stuff fixed very fast with the bed !!!Anyways-for the price -this hotel is very ,very good -I recommended on 100 % .The hotels is located on 6th floor and girl from recepcion speak very good english.Thank you!!!.
all reviews » The hotel (actually it is an apartment) is located between two metro stations and close to the city center. The staff was friendly and gave us another room with balcony upon request (please check in advance that you get one, they have only two rooms available). Actually this rooms are much bigger than the others. We paid 20 uah for WiFi for the whole stay, but the internet speed is pretty poor. Location - what a bonus to be next door to a french bakery/cafe. Had breakfast there 3 out of 4 mornings. Also on same block is 24 hr small grocery store that sells liquor at great prices. Also lots of restaurants walking distance. Khreschatyk main street is short walk. Wonderful park - Taras Shechenko park w bottled "live beer" is also short walk. Great location in a historical centre of the city, but in a very calm street. Close to the metro station, next door to the grocery. The room is very clean and comfortable, quality furniture, a kettle, necessary tableware, sattelite television. The folding sofa is transformed in a large comfortable double bad. It's absolutely perfect place for city trip!!!! Hole day by feet. City sigthing's bus is near. Can walk hole day or hole night. There are tea and coffee at room. Two doors for quiet sleeping. Iron, fen. And more and more..... There are not breakfest, but you need not it. -Great location in the city! (small hotel located on the 6th floor); -Clean room with satellite TV, safe & fridge; - Supermarket & good bakery just aside!; -Highspeed WI-FI in the rooms (costs only once 20 UAH); -Staff helping me with infos/calling a taxi. We booked the hotel 30 minutes prior checkin (because other hotel cancel our booking) and they check us in with no problem. In general a really good choice - location; big balcony (room No. 1); stable wifi; value for money. Very clean and a great value given its location. Everything needed was provided and available. The bed was comfortable but incredibly squeaky. There is nothing we didnt like. The only thing I would warn is its more a hotel than apartment, such as there is no kitchen. This is not a hotel in a proper sence. I would say it is a block of appartments, but with facilities of the hotel (except breakfast), but I can't say that this is a disadvantage. Toilet paper was not change at time. Cleaning was not every day. -Only curtains against the light outside (thus during summer, a good advice for people going to bed very late: bring an eye mask with you). I asked for taxi to airport Zhulyany - offer for 200 Uah is too much in my opinion, finally we used metro and Marshrutka for 9 UAH total for two people. Very uncomfortable bed; knowledge of Russian strongly recommended (only one person speaks English); cleaning could be improved. Elevator was not working the last day. Not stable wi-fi. There was some noise on the top floor above our room. the terrible thing was the abence of phone in the room. At the very first time my extencive travelling I was without phone at room. the staff was friendly to dial phone # at the desk,but sometimes we need a very personal talk,we are all human being, so I do not like it. No interneet It would have been great if there was free wifi. People who work in the hotel does not speak english. Hotel was only in the 6th floor and the entrance corridor was a bit suspicious, We could not pay with credit card as they said their terminal was broken. the bed is not comfortable to sleep on. Conditions a bit worse than last year, wi-fi is now paid (but costs only 20UAH = 2.5 USD), no free parking anymore, the rooms don't look as good anymore, bed is not very comfortable. Otherwise quite a nice choice for a short stay in the center of the city. small rooms.
