  Warm welcome from the owners, nice clean room,excellent breakfast, perfect location for exploring the Forest of Dean, Wye Valley, South Wales, lots of nature reserves within a stones throw we where lucky enough to see two families of wild boar in the RSPB reserve next door. I would highly recommend a stay at Edale House if your planning a trip to ... what people say » this part of the country either for a holiday or just an over nighter, I really can not fault it!. - Super enormous comfy bed, tea/coffee making facilities inc. biscuits and sweets! Fabulous breakfasts - tasty juice, fresh strawberries, raspberries, huge blueberries and lovely creamy yoghurt. The full breakfast looked good but I had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, yummy! Lots of info in the sitting room and a very handy help yourself bar.

  Very friendly BnB with a fantastic view. Large bedroom and bathroom and plenty of parking. Breakfast was lovely and made freshly for you. Even received a message before we checked in advising us to use the postcode in the sat nav so that we wouldn't end up in the wrong spot, which was a lovely touch. They also accept card payments which is great f... what people say » or a small BnB - Largest bathroom we had in UK albeit across a hallway that had previously led to front door, but was no enclosed as part of the unit.Clean, comfortable room with all facilities expected in a good quality B&B. Breakfast was good. advice re evening meal good. Wonderful view across the fields and forest toward Abagavenny etc. would certainly stay there again

  The quality of the furnishings and fittings was excellent. The shower was a joy and the WiFi worked perfectly. Chris, our hostess, was very friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge.
