  Everything was perfect for our one night stay while walking the Ridgeway. The staff were very friendly and fun. The food (and drink) in the pub was great. The rooms were very comfortable and peaceful. The hotel also arranged for our group to have two rooms that adjoined the same common living room, so it was like having our own cottage for the nig... what people say » ht - a really welcome surprise. We all rated the White Horse as the best hotel that we stayed in during our walking break. We would all go back again. - The rooms are spotless and the staff and the owner are very nice and helpful. Dinner & Dining area was everything we expected and even exceeded our expectations. Great breakfast delivered by a lovely member of staff. everything was perfect and perfectly balanced with the price. Absolutely nothing we did not like apart from having to leave but we will be back.
