  Gary and Marcia were absolutely lovely, and made us feel like house guests. Nothing was too much trouble and food was made freshly for us, with some divine scones for tea.   The food was out of this world and the staff were excellent and veryhelpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable with a great bath inthe ensuite! The home smoked salmon is fabulous and the chefs should gointo business selling it - we are sorry we didn't get to try the homecured beef as well, but that can wait for a return visit. - We thought... what people say » this hotel was a little gem. Warm, informative welcome and we had a lovely bedroom with a great bathroom. The breakfast was perfect. We will certainly visit again.

  Set in a good location and easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff, made you feel welcome. The rooms were set to the back of the inn in separate building, with a nice grassed sitting area for the guests. The room was nice and large, with an en-suite which was nice and large with bars for any disabled person as well. It's right on the A35 which makes it easy to find and well placed for venturing nearby and the coast. Room was spacious and comfortable and nicely located to the side of the pub. Staff were friendly. Food was good. I'd stay again.
