Situated right on the esplanade, Letchworth Guest House is just a short, pleasant walk from the heart of Weymouth and all it has to offer, including its restaurants, cinema, theatre and the picturesque harbour. The Letchworth is also within walking distance of the Sea Life Centre, Lodmoor Country Park and Radipole Lake Bird Sanctuary. Weymouth and Portland are at the heart of the Jurassic Coast and were home to the 2012 Olympics sailing events.
This Georgian, Grade II listed building houses charming, comfortable accommodation. All rooms are en suite, whilst the junior suite has a private external bathroom, and some rooms have sea views. All are extremely well furnished and decorated to a high standard.
Free private car parking is available for every guest.

The private parking and the proximity to the ferry terminal.An earlier breakfast than nomal was arranged and was very good.the room. The showers can be temperamental. Parking was a bit dodgy, we did not get blocked in but you could haveeasily been blocked in. parking not suitable if quick get away required(still good to have parking).It would have been nice to have a choice of fruit juice at breakfast and as I do not take milk in my tea (or drink coffee) I would have liked to have slices of lemon available. however I do not have any complaints about the breakfast itself. PARKING CAN BE A PROBLEM. The noise from the road was very bad all through the night. the staff were not very helpful when i arrived the gentleman did not explain where the car parking was and as i was new to the area had to look for it myself and fire routes were not explained. not a menu of choice for breakfast. no bar. owners were rude, and were pushy. Poor facility for breakfast. Service did not start until 08:30. This is not very useful if you have to begin work by 08:00.
