  The hotel was quirky in that it is an old aerodrome building and a huge amount of money has been spent in renovating it with an Art Deco theme - attention to detail is impressive and fixtures and fittings are all in keeping and good quality. Menu was very English with dishes you don't see often. - The design of the Aviator is such that it fits in... what people say » with the aerodrome's 1930's original building. Very comfortable and wonderful view of the airfield at breakfast time. Sadly did not stay long enough to sample the menu, however it looked very good, plenty of choice and imaginative.

  They were very accomodating in more wys than one. They made our grandson very welcome and made him feel important. The museum attached to the hotel and the airfield made it extra special too. - the hotel is stunning,intresting and freindly a really nice place to stay ,thats a bit different from the norm !
