  Everything was perfect. The staff were 2nd to none. The restaurant was beautiful as was the food it served. The rooms were perfect. And bar perfectly run. A lovely place I'd Definetly return to.   This is a proper pub that does good food and is run by a friendly young couple who deserve success. As you enter there is a dining area to left and a bar area to the right and the pub retains an atmosphere that welcomes both drinkers and diners alike. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced and the beer was without fault (Langton's Angler... what people say » , Oakham JHB and Old Speckled Hen on my visit). - Truly outstanding! The George inn is an accommodating, unique, and amazing experience. From the English pub to the well kept rooms we found everything we needed at the hotel. Breakfast was great and the couple who manage the hotel were exceptionally nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area or even people planning to do the tough mudder in nearby Kettering.
