Peace and quiet. This was our first experience in a Hilton Hotel. Regretably we could not stay for breakfast as our flight was leaving early morning. We are looking forward to staying there again soon and availing of breakfast. They were brilliant with my two year old daughter. Most hotels make us feel uncomfortable having children with us but this hotel was excellent.great shuttle service from stanstead, v ery comfortable bed, great selection at breakfast, very helpful staff.

The staff at breakfast and at the bar at night time, plus reception were very friendly and attentive to a weary traveller, nothing was too much, this is something rare these days and to be appreciated, not criticised. Let your people have a chat and commend them it makes travelling so much eaiser and more comfortable.The fact they have a health clucb and pool. The rooms were excellent. There is a shuttle bus ( £2) that takes you to the airport. Journey time 10 mins and they buses are every half an hour at 15 and 45 mins past the hour. Great location - would definitley recommend and i will be staying there again. The service at both Reception and the Bar/Restaurant was excellent. I was made to feel welcome, which is not always the case in airport hotels.very welcoming and polite staff. The parking facilities were at a very good price (for a change). I arrived at midnight in Jan and the room was really cold, I had to leave on my socks and sweatshirt in bed. a toothbrush-paste would have been ideal as then we would not have needed to unpack, also coffee and decaff coffee in the room would have been great as i don´t drink tea. We have travelled for 9 weeks in Europe and commented on how lovely it was to have such wonderful staff interest and service as it is not always the case, please ensure you thank the staff in your hotel properly as they are doing a great job and making them stop chatting to people as at breakfast was the case is not in your interest for the hotel or the guests. Thanks for a good stay.As with all hotels, the prices of food and drinks. The food was good but rather expensive. No mini bar and crap room service. We were surprised to be told the only room available was a smoking room. I absolutely could not stay in a room where someone has been smoking and was shocked that hotels still have such rooms. I don't think I was offered the option of a non-smoking room when I booked on your website. I think this would be a good idea. Luckily we managed to get a non-smoking twin room. the bus ride to/from the terminal. that you had to pay for parking... Beds were too hard. Need to pay for Shuttle Bus. Bar prices. on arrival told initially one of our two rooms ,the double was not available took awhile to get it staff at check in neither friendly nor helpfull. I stayed in a family room and this room was very small. There were only one double and one single bed inside.We missed a chair or something like that.children not allowed in the swimming pool after 18.30. the bed was too soft. As we came by taxi, and the taxi driver had difficulty finding the hotel because it is badly signposted. The bedroom was too hot and we had to open a window to cool it down. charging for weight in the hotel's hall. the room I was offered was a twin room insted of the double room I booked. too many leaflets on every single table of the room.

The airport shuttle service costs GBP 3 each way and is payable either to the hotel reception or the driver. The shuttle bus is free for children under 12. Please be aware the hotel pool and wet leisure facilities will be closed permanently as of Friday 10 March and the property will stop being a Health club. The current gym will still be available to hotel guest and accessed by registering at reception and using the key card to access.
