    Really great location, clean and comfortable. Just what we wanted as a base for walking. Great value for money would stay again. - Perfect! Friendly staff, with a very natural & homely feel. Great value for the price too, will definitely recommend.

    Lovely welcoming greeting from all the staff, who were always pleasant. Couldn't make the 1st night due to partner not being well, but on arrival was offered to stay the next night instead of losing a night. Very much appreciated as we were looking forward to the stay. food was excellent had breakfast both morning and evening meal both nights. Can... what people say » 't fault the food at all, overall an excellent couple of days. Do intend to re-visit in the summer if we get one. - The building is traditionally stone-built, in a commanding situation in an extremely scenic Yorkshire valley. It is family-run to a high standard, with courteous and efficient staff. The food, with an Italian emphasis, is excellent, and ensuite bathrooms have been exceptionally well added to a building of this type.
