  Excellent hotel in a lovely setting with good access to the Forest of Bowland. Modern, clean rooms and a great restaurant. This should be at least a 4*. Will definitely be staying again (soon!) - Excellent value for money. Good facilities.

  We often come to Blackpool for a long weekend during the illuminations but hadn't stayed in the Henson before. There were 5 of us, all family, in 3 separate rooms and we were well taken care of from day one. They gave us a few ideas as to what we could do whilst we were there and gave us a couple of tips such as buying tickets from the tourist info kiosk which saved us a lot of money. The saff were vey helpful in giving us directions to the venues we needed to get to. The road works around Blackpool made things difficult but the staff could not have been more helpful with the directions they gave us.   From when i entered the hotel i was greeted by the owner,he was very polite and paid attention to me,he checked me in then offered to carry my bag to the room,he also showed me to the room. The room was very clean,it was at the rear of the building.
