  We stayed 6 nights at the Vobster Inn. The location is perfect. There's a lot to do within an hour drive (Bath, Stonehenge, Bristol, Cheddar Gorge, Iford Manor, loads of National Trust properties, etc. etc). We even made it as far as Dartmoor National Park (2 hour drive). Be sure to have a navigation system in your car! Lots of small roads that al... what people say » l look alike. The owners & staff are very friendly and helpfull. They were a bit baffled by what we were able to see & do in 1 day :-) The foo - We chose Vobster Inn to break a long journey and were delighted with our find.The facilities are excellent. We stayed in their smallest room which was cosy and comfortable. Crisp white bedlinen, soft pillows,beautiful bathroom and a good powerful shower. Quiet and peaceful location. The food here is superb, cooked by the proprietor chef.Our delicious evening meal was served by helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Eggs for breakfast are fresh from the hotel's hens.I enjoyed a really tasty plum

The service was friendly and extremely helpful. The house is beautifully suited for bed and breakfast accommodation. The breakfast was superb. It is not far from Bath and also very handy to Bristol making it an excellent location for sight seeing. We would definitely stay there again.

  Myself and my other half spent a beautiful, romantic weekend in Bath staying at The Prince of Wales. The stay was extremely pleasant - Clarissa and Graham were wonderful, kind hosts and we had a fantastic vegetarian English breakfast before heading into the city centre for some sightseeing. It is slightly out of the city centre which makes it perf... what people say » ect for a romantic getaway in the country side, however transport to the city centre is very easy (bus stop is directly outside the venue). The accomm - Really nice greeting, very friendly and flexible to our needs, we were in room 1 which was lovely and light. It is a pub so isn't the kind of thing you'd expect at a hotel, but the friendliness and general atmosphere was much better than cold hotel. Our friends stayed at travelodge and paid more and were very disappointed. Breakfast was great, and I'd definitely stay again if back in that part of the world.5

  Friendly, clean and comfortable. Beautiful location, with lovely walks to surrounding villages. Good size room and en suite. There were options for breakfast, but recommend the full english. - Julie and Jake were perfect hosts. Friendly, caring, always wanting to help us have the best experience there.
