  Well presented and maintained hotel, includes great breakfast. Close to boutique shops and train station within 15min walk. One of the best hotels we visited on our 3 week UK tour. Also after 30 years since my last visit has striven to get better and better- also bonus is great Youngs beer only a flight of stairs below! - It's evident that a lot ... what people say » of money has been spent updating the Bull's Head, and the bedroom was very pleasant. The air conditioning worked well and was easy to control. There's a good ambience around the place, and it was a pleasure to have a meal in the bar. The next day breakfast was good with excellent coffee.

  Great value for money, I had a warm room with private toilet within though their website says that toilet is shared. The bathroom was shared but very clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable with a flat tv in the room and WiFi access. The WiFi it wasn't fast though. I had a delicious Full English breakfast with sausages, bacon, eggs and beans,... what people say » toasted bread coffe and juice. The staff are very friendly especially Yvette who runs the place, she was very kind and helpfull while I was trying to - The lady of the house yvette does her best to give you a warm welcome, the rooms are very clean, you can have what you want for breakfast, it's nice and quiet, hot shower, tea and coffee making facilities in room, any problems yvette will sort out for you, I am working in London and its not too far to crossness, 15 minutes, all in all a nice place to stay, lots of parking, yvette keeps a clean house

  Really friendly staff, very welcoming. Complements to the chef, great evening meals. Ideal location to get to London, 20 mins on train. - clean, very friendly staff, indor architecture made me feel in a medieval atmosphere. Excelent food and service. I will definitively go back
