  I booked the hotel for myself and my staff as we where working from home, the Service from all staff members was excellent they seen to our every need, fantastic choice at breakfast cooked fresh the way we liked it every morning, Evening meals again delicious, I would highly recomend this accommodation to everyone - It was good value for Money. T... what people say » he staff were very friendly considering how much work they have to do. The decor style was a nice try. The food was lovely and there was plenty of it. Considering they said it would be noisy the night we stayed our three year old slept like a log. We didn't hear a thing.

  The hotel is perfect. Immaculately clean. A combination of High Victorian/Edwardian architecture and Scottish and African influences in the furnishings. Lovely gardens. I could find no fault with any aspect of it, in particular with the hosts who were congenial and generous spirited in every way. I was in the area to attend a job interview and aft... what people say » er my check out they allowed me to work for several hours in their charming guest lounge, which was invaluable. - Rowallan is a lovely country house with beautiful mature gardens, just a few miles drive away from the Galloway Forest. It is just 5 minutes walk from Newton Stewart high street. Julie is an incredible friendly host, nothing is too much trouble for her. If I'm in that area again I shall definitely try to stay at Rowallan.

  Very friendly and helpfull staff. Our room was a great size especially as we had a travel cot. We were made to feel very welcome. - the friendly staff, the fact that the hotel accepted dogs, the overall cleanliness of the hotel.
