  Stayed here while on a leisure cycle through the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons. Unfortunately, woke up to stair-rod torrential rain; 25 mph winds; and a forecast saying it was set for the rest of the day. Our host used his local conections to sort out transport for our bikes and oursleves to our next stop; and let us overstay until gone midday whi... what people say » le we waited to be picked up. And this for folk stopping just one night and unlikely to be in Monmouth overnight again. It came on top of friendly and - We had a great welcome from Sandra when we arrived after a 60 mile bike ride "would you like a cup of tea?" Would we ever! Our room was perfect, the location was ideal and the breakfast was first rate. In short, everything you could want in a family B&B at a great price. I would go back tomorrow.
