  A very homely, comfortable guest house. The owners, Stan and Jo are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious, as was the vegetarian spread they did for my son. It is only a 5 minute bus journey to the NEC, so a perfect location if you're going there. If you're looking for a posh hotel with mat... what people say » ching everything, then this isn't for you, but I really liked it. I would definitely stay there again. - I've a short but very pleasant stay at Joe And Stan's. It is cozy and lovely. I received friendly welcoming and the best hospitality. It was a safe place for a lone businesses woman like me. The bed was good and the breakfast was excellent. I surely will go back again next time I'll be in Birmingham. Thank you for making me feel like home.

  Room was immaculate, obviously new build and sparkling. Bed was huge and there was still plenty of room to move about. Shower was nice, clean and well functioning. Breakfast provided catered to all tastes and was fantastic. Evening menu was also good. Late bar meant no need to go out the hotel and get cold while still being able to be comfortable ... what people say » and social with colleagues. Also bar prices weren't as expensive as I thought they would be. - It was so nice to be back at this wonderful hotel. I finally stayed in a room similar to the first time I stayed here. I've stayed many times, the design is quirky which aids the soundproofing. I've recently stayed in other local holiday inn express's and being back here was a dream! Instantly felt comfortable. The staff were much more pleasant too and even held a door open for me as I was carrying a lot of items for work.
