The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the check in was done quickly. The room was impeccable - clean and comfortable. It had a coffee maker and flat screen tv. Soundproof windows were very good as the planes took off or landed just a few hundred yards away. Easy access to the airport by foot if you need to walk. Free parking if you're a guest. The restaurant is very good too. Nice table set and clean cutlery. The food was cooked nicely and it tasted amazing. I would definitely suggest.
all reviews » we arrived at the hotel early and did not expect to be given a room until later in the day. The front desk staff (Justin) went out of their way to find us a family room. the room was very clean and had all amenities. the hotel is 15 minutes walk away from Luton terminal and there is great value for money in staying at this hotel in lieu of sleeping uncomfortable in the airport overnight. also, there could also be cost benefit in returning a hired car a day earlier and staying in the hotel . Reception staff were very welcoming. We were allowed to access our room on arrival which was greatly appreciated. We asked for directions and were given a detailed map with journey and distance marked on by the receptionist. Lunch and breakfast menus were good and well priced. We did not use the hotel for dinner. Room was well presented, spotlessly clean and adequate for our purpose. Check-in/out was very quick. Reception staff very friendly. The restaurant/bar had a good selection of food and drinks and the staff were again very friendly and helpful. We were only spending one night at the hotel and its proximity to the airport was excellent. It was around a 10 - 15 minute walk for those who were not laden down with cases and bags. The restaurant was good, staff very pleasant and attentive. I got used to the air traffic, but other clients were noisy close to my room a couple of times during the night (nothing you can do about that) Also just a small thing, I like to sit up in bed reading or watching TV, but the bed slid away from the wall so I couldn't. Perfect for layover and arriving at Luton airport, we had read a few mixed reviews, but had no complaints whatsoever. Used their cafe for late afternoon lunch due to late arrival, staff accommodating and helpful. Rooms were quiet. Caught taxi from airport instead of shuttle, only cost 6 pound very efficient. I chose to stay at the hotel for an early flight from Luton after snow had been predicted. Excellent hotel, clean, good service and comfortable bed. 4 days parking added into the price made a real difference and meant that it was almost cheaper to stay the night than park in the airports long stay carpark. Nice and clean room. Helpful stuff and hotel is really close to the airport. Didn't had any problems sleeping as I didn't heard noise from the airplanes even though the airport is really close. It's takes about 7min walk to the airport, but if you have heavy luggage I suggest you take a cab (approx. £6). Great value for the 8 day parking with a stay over for an early flight. Walkable distance from the airport terminal with on-site parking so avoiding the rush for a transfer bus. Staff were very friendly and efficient and food was not gourmet, but good value and perfectly edible for a stay over. Brief walk (aprox. 10-15 min.) to the airport terminal. Very comfortable if you have an early morning flight. You actually can sleap without the disturbing airport noise. I do not know how they did it, but the room is really silent. We loved our stay at the Ramada Encore Luton, rooms were stylish and comfortable, very clean and warm, staff were very friendly and keen to answer any queries! The only reason you would stay in this hotel is because of the proximity to the airport, 7 mins brisk walk. The walk to the airport from the hotel is about 1/2 a mile and involves walking up a fairly steep hill. No problem for me as I has only carry on luggage, however I wouldn't have enjoyed the walk with my family before a 2 week holiday. I could not fault it. Altghough it is close enough to the airport I needed a taxi to get there.\Probably with good weather the walking distance would be ok. The beds moved around on the laminate floor quite a lot when you moved on your bed but this didn't cause any problems for our stay - very minimal impact but it's the only thing I can think of!. Taxi booked to get us quickly up to the terminal by hotel was quite late arriving- though we had time to spare. Walked back to hotel on our return. Is the firm used reliable enough?. Would prefer carpet in the rooms to avoid foot noise. My only complaint is the hotel is 45 minutes to 1 hour to central london, by rail. That's not bad during the day, but forget about staying out late. Trains stop running at 01:00 and a cab back is 100 gbp so if you're going to London to party, it is worth paying a little extra for a closer hotel. There is nothing not to like about this hotel. Was not charged the correct rate when checking out. The difference had to be processed as a refund at a later date rather than correcting it at the time. Nothing, suited my needs. Breakfast was OK but I felt there could have been a little more selection for the price. nothing. Not sure if you would want to stay here if you weren't going to the airport. Beds moved about a bit when turning over at night but not so bad. Nothing. It is exactly what you expect from an airport hotel. An earlier breakfast availability would have been good - say from 6am. It's a bit of a walk to the terminal - if you have children with you or full sized cases, get a cab. Hot water supply. A constant hissing noise through the night that resulted in a poor nights sleep. Nothing. The bed was the hardest most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. The shower had cleaning solution on the floor which hadn't been washed off. It was over priced for an overnight stop caused by flight times to fly on the same day. Thought about £60 would have been more reasonable considering an evening meal was almost certainly going to be bought as well. It was not a bargain!. £5 car parking charge. Gloomy room (no central/ceiling light).
