This is the second time we have stayed at The Sanctuary House and was again fantastic, if not better. We stayed in an executive room so got a four post king size bed that you can get lost in and would recommend paying the little extra for the executive rooms. The staff were friendly and more than helpful as before. The location of hotel in central London is really excellent. We had some problems in the bathroom in our room, but this was arranged quickly.

Convenient location. Location. For some days there was noise in the early morning hours. One day somebody of the guests kicked on the doors of his room. Hotel bar was packed on the Friday night by people who'd just finnished work for the weekend.Though buy 8pm it was almost empty.The wood floors squeak which made it noisy during the night and early morning. No mini bar facilities and pub closed at 11pm.Heating in the bathroom didn't work and therefore it was cold in there (mid-December). Breakfast staff impolite and unfriendly. Poor breakfast choice. The reservation desk was very very slow, at check in and check out, the receptionist was dealing with a problem customer and I had to wait up to 15mins each time.menu choice could have been better. Breakfast was just until 9:30 and that was too early for us...The view from our window - the office building beside is really close. temperature of room. my bedroom was above the bar - unfortunately, there was too much noise until too late. There was a stain on the carpet and the taps were a little tarnished.Sound isolaton is not the best, no closets in the room; room was OK considering the location/price combination. The phone was broken. The TV had very limited chanels available. The breakfast staff were less friendly and did not keep items stocked up. we had to ask for glasses for juice etc. Things seemed to be an effort to them, which was quite the oposite for the reception staff.
