What people say
Reception staff very helpful ,
changed our room to a downstairs room when requested , let us leave suitcases then allowed us access to a room to change after we had checked out following my sons graduation.
i enjoyed my stay very much. there was always someone to help if i needed anything they also helped us find the bus stop home. and helped find attraction and shops.
Amazing and very helpful staff . The location of the hotel was great since it was close to everything we needed. . And its close to the train station. all reviews »
Location
Large room
Friendly
Very good value for money
Would defiantly return to this hotel.
Lovely sized family room. Close to Baker street station. Staff very friendly and helpful.
very near to baker street station and walking distance to madame tussauds. value for money.
Super value hotel, in the most fantastic location in London.
The location, room was fine, breakfast fine.
Location.
Very Clean.
Staff was friendly.
Location of the hotel was great - 5min (probably less) walk frm
baker st tube
They let us store out bags all day on the day which meant we cld have a good wander round London and go back
Got a basic breakfast in with the price (cereal and toast) which was more than other hotels I'd seen were offering
For 8 girls on a weekend in London it was just fine.
Book in was late but they stored our bags and put them in the room for
us (4th Floor no lift). Roomy bedroom. Price good. Gave us an Easter egg
each for the Sunday. Near Baker St tube (Witherspoon pub joins tube
entrance). Safe area.
I liked the décor. The beds were well presented with towels and a chocolate. The family room size was huge. Breakfast was included and the room was clean and well laid out. Great location close to Marylebone tube station.
The room was a really good size; there was tea and coffee facilities availble 24/7 and breakfast in the morning (although it was only continental).
Good location, cheap, staff doing their best, bedroom clean and well prepared.
Very nice staff, great location (only 2 min from Bakerstreet tube
station).
Location was great and the staff were friendly and unobtrusive.
Great location, comfy beds, clean newly tiled bathroom.
Location, staff.
The location.
Almost nothing. This hotel is a dump trying to pretend it is something better.
There is a very pleasant guy at reception who was apologizing
about the place as I checked in.
A warning of what was to come.
The position of the hotel is quite convenient to the underground and
it's in a nice neighbourhood (there's a very nice pub nearby).
The room was big.
Lets be honest, the only reason for ever going to this hotel is the location vs. price, it's def not a 3-star hotel.
1.Size of the family room was excellent.
2. The location of the hotel was great, two tube stations within 200m.
Great area just in a 2 min walk from Baker Street.
the location and surroundings were very good.
Staff was friendly.
Location is great.
The reception was lovely,and helpful.
The sheets were clean
No bed bugs.
The reception was friendly.
Excellent location.
location and staff.
Strategic position.
The location.
Staff tried to do their best.
Not very much!!.
location.
Beds were very soft , I think matresses had seen better days, otherwise facilities basic and clean chocs a nice touch.
nothing all was very perfect.
Smell off the toilet in the room
But a flush and a blast of fabreeze all was good again.
No complaints at all.
at least they should put jug kettle in each room.
No lift and no air con.
The hotel was being refurbished. It will be nice once finished.
Booked a single room, was given a triple.
Very basic continental breakfast.
Mattresses weren't the most comfy (but didn't stop any of us
sleeping) Decor was great in places but in others a unfinished which was
a shame Needs a touch up -
I did email them with a question at one point and never got an answer - but it didn't really matter in the scheme if things
for what we needed it for - this hotel did the job and there wasn't a complaint from any of us
Still curious as to why neither of the bedrooms had a bin ?!.
No lift to upper level. Breakfast is cereal & toast your own bread.
Ensuite very small with large facilities leaving little room. Shr in
bath could be a little dangerous (no room). Renovations in progress.
Bathroom was tiny for a family room and had a damp smell. lacked hooks, nowhere to hang a towel. The windows didn't seem too secure and being at street level it made our room noisy.
The bathroom had no lock, the shower/ bath didn't look very clean, we didn't have any hot water so I went to reception and they said you have to run the water for about 10 minutes before any hot water would come through. If you then wanted to adjust the temperature, that took even longer.
No wardrobe in my room, no heating in bathroom, dripping leak in dining room ceiling.
Rooms were very small, bathroom was not clean and only half finished.
While using the shower, a few tiles came off the wall. Windows did not
open. Tv had to be paid for (even bbc 1 etc). Poorly furnished: no
mirror, no chair. Breakfast was only served after 8 am.
No ventilation in the bathroom so it reeked of damp and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable for a more than 1 night stay.
Whole hotel was work in progress, with ladders and equipment stored
everywhere. Dangerous bedroom window, no bath panel, minimal bedroom
furniture, very sparse breakfast of poor quality and sticky tables. No
lift, stayed on 3rd floor, couldn't move us, said hotel full??.
Poor room layout, poor bathroom, no lift.
No hot water.
Grubby, wore out, cheaply tarted up -substandard in every way.
No heating. Waited 10 minutes for hot water. £10 for internet.
miserable breakfast.Fly bites in the morning from ancient carpet.
I feel so sorry for tourist. Stay away!.
Breakfast was quite dissappointing since there were few choices. The
bathroom was tiny and not so clean. We wanted to pay with the credit
card and we had to insist because the receptionist said it wasn't
working, even after we called the bank and they told us everything was
ok with the card.
The noise from the road made sleeping difficult. This was not helped by only one of the two windows having double glazing.
One of the beds had the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on: bumpy does not quite describe it! In the words of my 6 year old daughter 'that is the worst bed in the world!'.
Toilet seat was broken.
No hot water at occassions.
There was a hole in my bed and it was very hard.
Boring breakfast.
We found the staff very casual and it didn't seem like they really worked there and were just helping out, very strange.
Unfortunately we woke up in the morning to find bed bugs. We were only offered £20 off the bill or to dispute with reservations, which we are currently in the process of. My wife and I don't get away much due to having a small daughter so it marred the occasion a little.
Room was truly bad (nothing like the pictures they show).
Rooms were of poor, light switch was dirty, breakfast was very poor room smelt, lucky for us we was only there 1 night !.
The filthy reception area
The smell in the room
Information about breakfast times were different at diff. postings.
The bathroom was awful, and broken shower curtain rod.
Window couldn't be locked.
Window had to be propped open with a garbage can.
No AC, hence way too hot to sleep at night.
Coffee and tea machine out of water in the evening, and no staff around to ask for help.
No elevator, tons of stairs.
Breakfast was a joke.
The room was dirty, with no facilities whatsoever and, additionally I
felt it was unsafe. Doors on rooms I passed on the way to my room had
obviously been broken into, and my own bathroom door had also been
damaged - there was no handle.
Appalling accommodation.
cleanliness, size of room, facitities within room.
Old hotel, carpet everywhere, cold water in the shower, the pictures in the website have nothing to do with reality.
The stairs.
Bath in the bathroom hadnt been tiled and finished. No hot water. Breakfast was poor with moldy bread. Too expensive. Should be a budget hotel. I've stayed in budget that's better than this.
- Hot water after 15 minutes
- Almost no choice at breakfast
- No elevator
- Unclean
- Paper walls, you can hear everything from everyone.
Rooms were small, shabby, lights didn't work, toilet was messy, carpets were worn and the whole place was tired and needs urgent refreshing.
expected alot more for the money we paid. no hot water. windows didn't open and no air conditioning. old beds and washing left in corridors.
The room smelt of sewerage
The facilities were very poor... No chair, no hair dryer, no bible, no air con
Noisy water pipes
Poor quality bed and cheap mattress
Not comfortable at all
No phone in room nd reception don't answer external calls
Bathroom in state of disrepair.... Rusty poor shower, broken cabinet etc
Just awful!.
