I was looking for a hotel near to the O2, and the Ramada is excellent for that. Great if you arrive at London city airport. I was made very welcome from the moment I arrived at the hotel. The room was very comfortable and I was surprised how quiet it was, especially when the hotel is next to an airport, motorway and railway !. When we arrived we had got upgraded to a suite which was very tasteful and comfortable. The food the staff in fact everything about the hotel was excellent and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

The food service was dreadful - bar snacks took over an hour to arrive, breakfast was over-priced and most items were unavailable. As mentioned but for the patient staff who dealt with everyones complaints the situation would have been made worse. However dispite the staff on duty behaving impectable there were obviously not enough of them!. We did not have breakfast as it seemed expensive. There was no shower gel and we couldn't get the radio to work on the t.v. The mattress was far too soft (the type that sags in the middle), and also we failed to work out how the shower turned on!. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. the fact there was no mini bar and residents bar closed to early. Pay TV was not operational, Wireless should be included in the Price of the Room. Include a Mini Bar. restaurant far too expensive for the class of Hotel. The pub next door is much better value and a 2 minute walk. Loud music from function room until after 2am!. The booking was made through RyanAir´s homepage and the location was said to be 1.4 km from center, London!!?? This made the whole stay very troublesome since we attended meetings in Kensington.Thought the room would be better for a 'suite' furniture was a bit dated aswell as decor. I thought at £149.00 per night breakfast should have been included as a friend stayed the same time and theres was included. There was not a vending machine for any chocolate. I also noticed that the sofa's in the Oval bar were looking rather grubby on the arms . Also, a selection of soft and hard pillows would be nice as found them too hard couldnt sleep very well. breakfast. Lack of modarn technology such broadband services and decor looks dated. We had to make up our own beds for the children, after calling down for bedding at 11am. Response to our call was quick. Not a lot of carparking, And I believe I left a small air coupling in the room about 60 mm long, was it found ?. Attitude of staff poor - made to feel like we were 'in the way' at times.Room service and food was very expensive. The bed in our room was very used and not what we would have expected. It was really uncomfortable and we kept rolling together in the middle.The staff didnt speak very good english. Shower wasnt very powerful. It was very fair out to commute into central london everyday. no. Very remote location for any other amenities; ie no shops, entertainment, etc. Also had a rather limited menu choice in the restaurant and very average standard of cuisine. Lack of a complete gym with sauna and pool facilities at this hotel which claims to be a 4 star hotel. Cost of breakfast seemed a little high. breakfast is too expensive. Restaurant quite small so looked too busy. Not very relaxing. beds too soft. no additional tv channels pay tv did not work.
