-size of the appartment: huge l-ocation is great: nice shops and restaurants in upcoming area, 2 minutes from liverpool street station -clean -extremely good working wifi, every room has its own router with private access code -you could borrow DVDs from the reception to watch on the DVD player in your room -staff is extremely helpful, they allowed us work in our room for two more hours after checkeout time. -We had a room on the back of the complex, so we hardly heard any noise from the street.
all reviews » Me and my family arrived from Saudi around 11am and our booking was for the two bedroom penthouse. Anothe gust was there and staff (Deepak) offered us a flat to relax until our place is cleaned. Cleaning was great and was daily exept weekends. I asked for the water boiler to be replaced and it was done fast. Kitchen was full of what you need to enjoy cooking. I used the roof for BBQ and for enjoying London nights. Wifi was fast. The duty Manager, Basel was a fantastic help to us. Always willing to help, at all hours day or night. Came to our rescue with his own phone as our next hotel had been overbooked and we were only informed 8 hours prior. We were totally stranded, and Basel loaned us his own phone and printer to enable us to try to make another booking. (not easy for a 2 bedroom apt. in Paris). Location was good...The Superior one bedroom apartment was very spacious, the bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable, the apartment was very clean, modern with a very good wifi connection and fully equipped kitchen. There is a supermarket across the street and plenty of pubs and restaurants. Liverpool Underground Stations is just a 5 mins walk. Everything - Basil the manager was absolutely lovely and so helpful. The apartments are spotless and spacious. Really excellent location. Nice touches - eg tea bags milk bottled water. I liked it here and will go again and again and again... We stayed in a two bed apartment, very spacious. Nice size kitchen and lounge room. My wife and I travelled with my uncle. So it was cheaper to book am apartment plus we ended up with a kitchen and lounge room. This place was absolutely huge and very well appointed with everything provided, even dishwasher detergent. Very convenient for Liverpool Street Station. I will keep the details for future stays in London!. The size of apt was amazing - split over 2 floors. Simple but classy mimimalist design. Good king bed and everything we needed. All the little things - milk coffee ironing board etc. Will def use again. Convenience to mass transportation, shops, food. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water available for showers, washing machine. Nice to have 2 bathrooms and washing machine in apartment. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and quiet, this has the potential to be a top class location but needs work on it. Location was excellent when we worked out where we were. Close to underground and other transport. Great stay in London would recommend. The amount of space was excellent, plus it was very close to good restaurants and tube station. The duty manager was extremely helpful. I stayed in the larger apartment which had very nice size rooms, both living space and bedroom. Tidy, well presented and furnished. Had a bit of a smell near the front door of the apartment which we couldn't work out but the rest was unaffected. Location. The appartment was nice and clean. The living room was big enough for 4 people and the kitchen was enough good equipped. Good location for restaurants in Spitalfields and Shoreditch. Friendly staff. Location. -only two small windows in the whole apartment: one in bedroom and one in living room; no windows in kitchen or bathroom. Had to keep lights on even during the day -kitchen is outdated, cupboards smell funny -We left de windows open during our entire visit to let fresh air in and to compensate for the musty air in the apartment -beds were too hard -no good desk or table to work on, table that was there was not suited to work on -couches were not comfortable. Some noise from the street and specialy during sunday market. Although, rent was paid in full for the 11days, the initial deposit (£580) was pending for more than one month despite the continous follow up with staff. Due to the one way restrictions of the roads in the area, it was confusing for both drivers and taxis alike to get to 92 Middlesex Street. Street noise relatively loud in bedrooms in early morning even with windows closed. Not major problem for us and no other negatives. Reception arrangements when arriving late, lack of opening window/fresh air in the sleeping area, poor black-out blinds for sleeping area, broken handle on cupboard door. There was nothing we did not like, the apartment is getting close to needing updating. Busy area near a biker bar in the evening and a street market setting up in the early morning. If you are bothered by outside noise you might not like this. Could have done with a standard freeview box or dvd player (only had about 8 channels) but thats my fault for not bringing my ipad lead:). Toilets didn't always flush. Strange, but true: interior of apartment was very quiet (didn't hear tv thru walls), but could hear every word spoken on the street below via apartment windows (even though they were fully shut). the place is a bit tired compared to other venues at the same rate in the area, for example the kitchen was extremely old fashioned and had far too many wall shelves, it needs to be redesigned also the sockets were not conveniently positioned for modes living, the bathroom was tiny... Room had cigarette smell in the room, you need to learn how to flush the toilet. It was a little warm in the apartment although fans were in lounge and bedroom. A bit to expensiv and the windows let through to much noise. The one bed apartment was more like a studio. The beds were made very poorly. Had to keep remaking them. Bottom sheet hafe way down mattress, not able to tuck in. Little thing but annoying. Had trouble flushing toilets. No parking. Plus is you stay saturday the market stalls set up in the streets below from 5am so noisy woke us up and we didnt have windows open. A bit on the noisy side. Also they did not bring fresh towels only changed once in 8 days. Central heating was difficult to control. Noisy if window was open in bedroom. Nothing, a wonderful stay yet again. The weather! (a joke). Nothing against the accommodation, but we were awake really early due to the flea market setting up at 6am on the street right outside. Over heated, poor windows allowed lots of noise. noise from outside (needs double-glazing) . Could do with a bit of re-furbishing/updating. Toilet was out of funktion !!!. Carpets were dirty with stains. Bed was a little too soft. Just the old tatty bathroom that brought the comfort level down. Never changed towels (stay in 4days). Room was cleaned but still looks tired. The location is not great because it is close to Liverpool Street and the surroundings are not nice, essentially dirty. The value for the money is low...in comparison with other important cities in the world I would say: very low!!!. Over priced for what it is. Pretty scruffy and second rate e.g. no cable TV, but individual portable aerials (!) which don't work properly; dining chairs have collapsed springs/cushions; washbasins without any shelves to place toiletries; radio not digital only FM, ... etc., etc. Miserable bedsit level decorations. I'd be suicidal in a place like this after a week. Reception is friendly but a mess and couldn't even issue a receipt. Staff, management, cleaning. No service during a long week end. Bed, bathrooms ,towels,and dishwasher are all old and poor condition Location is.
