I was popping up to london for 2 days for college interviews, and after looking at the price of some hotels it seemed stupid paying near enough £200! I choose a room in a female only dorm,I'd never stayed in a group room before but it was fine, my expectations were majorly exceeded! The bed was really comfy, clean and although I was sharing a room with other people it wasnt a problem at all, the other girls were lovely, and the shower facilities were handy each morning. all reviews » The equipment is amazing (other than the very small kitchen), particularly the room (I was in a 4-bed) displayed a very high standard. The breakfast was decent (no fruit anymore though, as visitors had stated in previous reviews). Wifi at the ground floor and nice ares to sit, relax or even work. The location is certainly not central, but Oxford street is 20 mins away and the Jubilee Line will drop you off at St. Paul's or Buckingham Palace in not much more time. If you want a good quality for . This is my second stay at this hostel and is suitable for backpacker. Near to London tube station and it is within zone 2. You will need 20 minutes to the city by tube. Free water as water dispenser provided in the kitchen. Breakfast is provided as well from 7.30am until 10.30am. Plus there are many visitors there and the wifi device may not able to cope with the load. Nearby there are many convenience stores and the best thing is that the there is a bus stop in front of the hostel where you ca. This hostel is suitable for backpacker. Plus there are many visitors there and the wifi device may not able to cope with the load. And the bus is operated 24 h. I was staying at 14-bed female dorm, and everyone living in that room was thoughtfully trying to stay quiet all the time. Breakfast was very nice, good coffee. Free tea, instant coffee and drinking water was avaiable all the time. Wifi connection was excellent. Staff was very helpfull at any time and they speak a lot of languages! Location is good & safe - a lot of nice little shops & restaurants near by. It was first time in my life staying in hostel, I spend whole week there and I wou. Pretty good location, very close to underground and bus stop right in front of the hostel as well (n98 if you need to travel after underground closes, awesomeness), very helpful and friendly staff (24h), bathrooms and other common areas were clean, and those who forget or can't bring their own towel can rent one from reception and can get some of your money back when you return it (it says price includes linen, but I wasn't sure if that meant towel as well, and found out it doesn't, so yeah). Located in zone 2 and was about 10-15 mins walk from Willesden Green Station. A quiet area which should be good for a good night rest after a long day out. Room is rather compact, but do not expect too much since it's a budget stay. There is power-point beside each of our bed, very convenient for charging our phone and ipad. I liked the cleanliness very much, mainly the clean bedding and the clean bathroom facilities which is maintained at a very high standard. I liked the cooking facility it gives you the option of cooking your own meals if you want to.The staff were very nice and also the other lodgers were very nice and relaxed too. The room was simple and clean, and the showers and bathrooms were cleaned by staff regularly. We felt very safe during our stay, as the security (gate and locks) was good and the area was nice. I stayed there during the Hillsong Color Conference at Wembley Arena. It`s within good walking distance to the Underground and only 3 stops from the arena. Even in a mixed doorm you have your privacy due to curtains on the bed. very cosy, easy to change clothes. Breakfast included and comes as a buffet. Toast, marmelade, juice and croissonts -loved those. Friendly, helpfull staff. The staff is so incredibly nice and helpful!! The food in the restaurant is good and cheap along with the drinks at the bar! The location was nice, felt safe coming back late nights and the tube isn't that far at all! The bunks are cozy and you have privacy if you'd like to watch a movie on your laptop and the Internet did work in our dorm!. The space of bed is warm and big as well as the room is quite big so don't worry if it's too clouded to put your luggage inside.The shower room and toilet are clean too.They provide free WiFi and breakfast so that it's reasonable price for backpack who prefer clean and comfortable place to stay. With window open in room 001 you can hear everything from ladies toilet on ground floor. I guess a note informing about it and asking people using the toilet to just keep their voice down during night hours would be nice. We got a private twin sharing room. The bed is rather small, not recommended for tall or larger framed people. Our room is right below the restaurant/kitchen area, so it's pretty noisy. Simple breakfast is provided, but we decide to eat out throughout the rest of our stay in London after having one breakfast.But should be ample for those who are not fussy about their breakfast. Breakfast was not great - there was no fruit as advertised on letsbookhotel.com. hearing people talking and laughing from outside at 0:00 when you wanted to sleep. closing the windows helped a bit. you could only do that when the bed infront of the window was still empty. Our first bunk happen to be right by the window closest to the bar and restaurant so we could hear people outside most nights, BUT, they ended up moving us with no charge to a more quiet location so it was no biggie!. It's important who stay in the dormitory with you cause on first day I stay with a group of high-school girls,they are noise and dirty.When they leave at pretty early time,the close the door so loudly that awake me. The man in the below bed has very stinky feet, but actually it's not hostel's fault. The bed was quite small, but for this price is the best you can get. Leaving!. Apparently, there was a spring break going on throughout Europe; therefore, there the lodge was packed with young students who were pretty noisy. However, it's not the hostel's fault and responsibility. Maybe is a little bit far. However you will pay the same because is in the 2nd area. But don't let this put you off. It was my first experience in a hostel and I really enjoyed it!. In our private bath the hot water suppy wasn't consistent. As I was taking a shower, the water temperature wasn't consistant. Also, our room - BO2 - was in the basement, with no day light. It is actually located under the restaurant, so it can be a little noisy. The price is a little high, considering the hostel is located so far from the center. The noicelevel were a bit over the top on the terrace after 10.30 in the evening. The doors to the rooms slammed loudly. If possible, I hope they can set up a big sign on the front door... Few more toilets wouldn't hurt,. the distance. A little far from downtown, but the metro is a few minutes walking and there are buses (even during the night) that takes you to the hostel front door, so the access was too easy. WiFi is not top but not bad. Kitchen is not that great, depends on who's working that day, don't expect greatness. Some of the staff on front desk are useless and don't know what they are doing. No towel in room . - Showers. The pillows were very flat and the mattresses were very small but for one night it was fine. Having mixed male/female toilets was a bit strange too. The kitchen was not big enough and cooking facilities were not sufficient. And a little bit far from the city center, if you consider transportation fee as part of the living expense. The cleaning lady was really annoying (and beautiful). They moved me to another room and had to check in twice and leave my luggage in the locker room. some member of the staff dont speak good english otherwise every thing is great. located at zone 3 of London, but very convenience, only 5-8 mins to tube and bus stations. NO HEATER in the room, but not cold at all (Did not know why!). I had to leave :(. The restaurant bunch are a bunch of footloose, not as helpful, I experienced breakdown of hotwater machine, when I called their attention, that the machine is producing cold water... they should put a notice to warn other guest... their response or lack of it is lukewarm. Attitude and presentation is not professional.. 30 day policy. Nothing. Basic Breakfast, not much information,very tourist/student orientated. All good. The room was extremely hot. Had a hard time sleeping. Some members of the staff was not very nice. We didn't like the noise at the evenings, and the thin walls.
