The location is great, a few bus stops from chief tourist attractions, walking distance from a very nice park (Regent park), very close to the Tube station (Baker St.). The bus on the way back from day trips into the city stops right at the door of the hotel - very convenient when you are tired from all the walking :) The room was tidy and comfortable, spacey (2 rooms), with lots of light, a little inner garden, a microwave and a bath tub. Very quiet too! The staff were helpful and friendly.
all reviews » This is the second time I chose Marylebone Inn Hotel and I do not regret that choice. The hotel is superbly located in the city with a short walk to the underground, bus and other vehicles. The hotel staff is always friendly and welcoming and will help you with whatever it may be. The recent renovated rooms make the experience even better. If you want a central underlying hotel with good standard I recommend you to book next stay in London here. I was stunned at the quality of my room and the Marylebone Inn, my room was large, spacious with high ceilings,nhad a built in kitchenette with amenities, a separate area for the bathroom/shower. The staff were super helpful and attentive when I needed to check out and find an alternative hotel. The location was good 5 min walk from baker st tube and there is a bit to di around the area as well as many ethnic eateries/restaurants. The room was big, with two sofas and a dining table. The location is great, and although gloucester place is a very noisy road (especially at night), the room was good isolated and soundproof. My first night in london where i slept all night without ear plugs! Also, the cleaning staff washed our dishes (after eating breakfast), which we really appreciated. I'm happy to get acquainted with the hotel staff, great personal thanks to Gintoros and Daniel for a caring attitude. great location, convenient transportation links in all directions of the country, a few minutes from the beautiful Regent's Park and the main shopping Oxford street... I wish to take advantage of this hotel in my next trip... Very helpful staff (carried my bag up the stairs for me), kitchenette was very useful as I was travelling on my own and it meant that I could have something decent to eat without having to go out alone, room was very spacious, location was great and price was very good for London. Our allotted accommodation was on a higher floor but on arrival the manager recognised we were older and a bit breathless so he voluntarily relocated a room for us on the ground floor as there was no lift. It was very quiet given the location. Well pleased with our choice. This was the second time I stayed at Marylebone. I requested a room on the ground floor. Request was meet by Hotel's Management and room was large, very comfortable and pleasant. Management strided to make our stay comfortable and trouble free and were very friendly. Space in room 13 family room up to four people. Instant coffe left from former guest or standard ? Anyway saved us in the morning since no breakfast is available in the house. But always nice to start w a coffe. Nice beds and linen. Location great not far from kings cross station so close to the tube station we were going to see Robbie Williams at Wembley Stadium only 2 stops on the tube from Baker street and close to Oxford street for shopping. Loved the location, access to the Tube, the fact that the room was a kitchenette and that the place had some nice character. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the manager was very attentive. Clean simple yet stylish decor. The staff were friendly and very helpful - bringing the luggage up the stairs. Central location is handy to public transport and an easy walk to Oxford St. The fitted kitchenette area was excellent. The standard of cleanliness was very high. The central location was excellent. Had issues heating up the room and adjusting the heater to be warmer. We had a room in the 4th floor, and there was no elevator, so we had to walk up all the stairs. Exhausting! The wifi wasn't working properly, so we were without internet most of the time. No heating in the bathroom floor, and the shower was not so great. But all in all, we enjoyed the stay!. Hairdryer wasn't in the room as standard, but the owner very quickly supplied one for me so it wasn't an issue. Extra windows for the noise from outside, problems finding out how to open them- need air and first night too warm, next day we figured it out and did no longer feel like we stayed in a "box". Only fault I could find is hotel doesn't have double glazing so if your room is on the main road you can here traffic day and night, but ear plugs worked really well. Tiny room (but this is London) and lack of an elevator. the noise from the single glazed windows. The bus stops outside the front door. Even though the windows had internal shutters, the noise was extremely loud and constant throughout the night. For those less able, there is no lift and there are three/four floors. No restaurant or bar facilities. More pillows. Noise from the busy street. The WiFi connection was intermittent. Room was probably one of the smallest I ever stayed in, but given the price it seemed as a fair deal. Our welcome on our night of arrival was quite abrupt (bordering on surly), but the man who was on for Saturday was very friendly. We were on the ground floor by the road, and it was unbelievably noisy (not helped by a bus stop outside the window). Traffic stops between about 2 and 5am. Shower needed a more thorough clean as the drain was blocked and so the base of the shower filled with water. No elevator. Also it is quite noisy if you don't close the window since there's a main road outside. But during the winter I guess this will be fine. The hotel is on a busy road so you do hers the traffic but for a couple of nights it really is not an issue. WiFi works really poorly. Uncomfortable bed & only had a mixer shower in the bath. My friend found the outside traffic very noisy. Each bathroom had a "saniflow" system which was running pretty much constantly - each time the WCs in the building were flushed or the shower was turned on. This even happened in the early hours of the morning. No wardrobe space? if it had been any warmer outside the room would have been stifling as there was no fan. Shower leaked a little but hot and powerful. The walls are very thin so you can hear almost everything. Bathroom is very small, so for a big person is difficult. Slight leak from the shower. Outside noise - directly outside a bus stop and has no double glazing Milk not replenished No lift. No lift. Room was very small with no wardrobe. Ok for the one night I stayed. Bed on mezzanine floor meant that I was unable to stand upright ( I am only 5ft 2ins tall) !! My partner at 6ft 3ins had no chance!!! Interesting!!. Steep staircase to second floor. Sink very small and no shelf in bathroom. Noise from the road outside - lorries passing till 0300 in the morning. It was a bit noisy as we had a front room. shower was not very good. poss would have trouble if you want to was your hair! table in room unstable. no milk provided in room had to ask for it. no lift, shower temperature was difficult to maintain. They've installed triple glazing to dampen the noise - it works but its also made the rooms totally airless. They need to look at ventilation of some sort or at least ceiling fans. We were at the front of the hotel and a bit noisy but would not put us off staying there again. No lift, the hike to the top floor is challenging as a pensioner. The bed was upper level so very low ceiling, would not recommend to guests over 6ft. Traffic noise as we were at front of building on main road. No lift. Only a single pillow which was too big - should be 2 smaller ones.
