The friendliness of the staff. The staff were very welcoming and efficient and the location was good for restaurants and shops. The staff were very professional, friendly, willing to help and extremely pleasant. the geografic situation nice staff. The La Place is in a quiet road, but very close to great shops and restaurants. We had the junior suite, it had a seating and dining area, a fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were excellent, and the breakfasts were good. We'll be staying there again.

Travelling information

By car:
enter london via the a40 (westway) which then becomes marylebone road. Pass madame tussaud's and take the first turning on the right into marylebone high street. Take the first right again into paddington street - this then turns into nottingham place.

From heathrow airport:
take the heathrow express train to paddington station (15 mins - 12 GBP per person) and then a taxi to the hotel (10 mins - 6 GBP). Alternatively, we can arrange a taxi to pick you up from the airport (45mins - 45 GBP)

from gatwick airport:
take the gatwick express train to victoria station (35 mins - 12 GBP per person) and then a taxi to the hotel (15 mins - 8 GBP). A taxi from gatwick is around 70 GBP and takes about 1.5HRS, so the train is by far the best option.
