Location of hotel is in city centre, nearby Oxford Street. very good location , easy acess to Oxford Street. nothing really - very dirty bad state of repair. close to centre so convenient. Spacious rooms. Nothing - Unfortunately this hotel is not fit for habitation. As a cost saving excercise the staff had switched off the central heating !. Pleasant owner, tried her best in not the best of hotels. leaviing as was very poorly standard through out. Centrally situated to Oxford Street. good location. The location. curtins. Cleanliness and state of repair. Size of bathroom.the cleanliness of the room was not so good. A leaking pipe in the bathroom, stained cigarette burned bed sheets, 70's decor, very basic room. Although sheets and towels were clean, room was not very clean. And the shower didn't work, which was very bad. Hotel is old and in bad condition. yes, our cases ended up being locked in the hotel and we couldnt get them out to leave. We nearly missed our train. There was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The decor in the hotel was very old and worn and in need of an update.Matress worn, TV reception poor, Metal casing around shower hose pull away, water everywhere. Shower attachment on wall not working. Need to tell people you are right under the main tube line. the room was filthy and very unkempt. Shabby and not good value for money. This hotel had no redeeming features. The outside left a lot to be desired - no sgnage, dirty, filthy curtainsetc. No tea making facilities, cost £1.50 for tea! Single bed clean butvery uncomfy. Very basic. Net curtains torn and stitched, filthy.Wouldnot return. loo door would not shut from inside the bathroom was far from useable and would not of washed in it. light did not work in bathroom. tv had no remote and did not stay in colour and went black and white. we could not bring our sleves to have breakfast there as we were unsure of what we would catch. this could of spoilt our new years eve completely. why dont u check on whats on offer disgusting. Did not consider this a three star hotel. Very run down, dirty flooring, wallpaper peeling off the walls, no lift (for heavy luggage). It smelt, was very dark and was obviously used by guests as a permanent home. I certainly didn't feel very safe and didn't risk staying for breakfast. If I'd paid £30 a night it would have better reflected the standard of the hotel.Poor standard of presentation at reception, poor room decor, poor room facilities, poor TV and poor breakfast. For almost 100 pounds a night (whatever the location) I would at least expect the bathroom to be cleaned (without hairs left everywhere), clean bed covers (they look like they haven't been cleaned for 10 years). There was someone else's luggage left in the wardrobe, I had to ask for towels, generally speaking the room looked absolutely disguting. The hotel looks like no update (and probably cleaning) has been done in the past 20 years.Standard very poor, needs to be updated. It was extremely dirty (the toilet was just disgusting) and the service was very poor (half the days I stayed there, rather than changing the towels they put them on the beds to dry). There was not reception service available over night: I was just given the key of the door to gain access to the hotel. In fairness I have to say that the only member of the staff I met in 4 days was quite polite.
