The staff was extremely courteous and friendly and very efficient. The smallness of the hotel made it intimate and unique. The free breakfast was a great plus. The concierge was more than helpful. The room was furnished in antique style and very comfortable and pleasant with very nice bathroom. We had a king room with bed split to two twins and travelling with friend - very adequate space.
all reviews » The Ashburn Hotel is conveniently located in Kensington and a few steps from the Piccadilly Line and easy access to the west end. The concierge was attentive to our needs, from bringing coffee, arranging airport transfers, to booking last minute tickets. Breakfast in the luxurious dining room was excellent. A wonderful hotel!. in no particular order -- the location was excellent, staff helpful, breakfast buffet was fresh and of good quality and dining room staff was attentive and helpful. the room was spacious and comfortable, nicely decorated, comfy bed and lots of closet space. we'll definitely return. This was a fabulous hotel, the complimentery champagne hour in the barwas a great touch,as was the free continental breakfast. For a Londonhotel the rrom service and English breakfast was very good in terms ofcost. Great location and would definately stay here again.The Ashburn Hotel was in a wonderful location! The room was clean and comfy! The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help with anything! My family and I look forward to our return to London and staying at the Ashburn!!!. The Only faught i could find was Low water Pressure and Water only Warm in the Bath/Shower.dining room very small for the amount of bedrooms,you had to wait for a table several times in the week we were there. all so bathmats for the inside of the bath would be good for older visitors,i had to put a towel in to avoid slipping.but it did not stop us from having a great time in london. the coffee, there was no champagne on arrival as promised when booking the hotel, room was smaller than described...not really... but maybe.. a little more careful cleaning on the corner... Not enough staff during breakfast.
