The staff were exceptional in every manner. Each one we spoke to were very polite and accomodating, especially when booking out as we were leaving at 6am the next morning and they prepared a fantastic breakfast which was delivered 30mins before we departed at 5:30am. The reception staff were very polite and helpful, the staff in the breakfast room always had time for us, never rushed. The room was excellent; clean, bed comfy, tea/coffee/chocolate making facilities, information about the area in a folder, room service brilliant, breakfast included was excellent and you could have as much as you liked. Staff very polite and helpful, could not fault anything.

The price of food in their restaurant was far too high, but there were alternatives available on site.Internet was very unreliable. when we arrived in the room it was freezing cold, although there was a heater which heated the room it hadnt been turned on. It would have been nice if the heater had been turned on before our arrival.No mini bar in the room. Hard to fault this excellently run hotel but we thought the restaurant temperature was a bit on the cool side at breakfast.

Children are welcome to use the swimming pool from 10:00 until 12:00 everyday and from 14:30 until 16:30 in the afternoon. On Saturdays and Sundays, they can use the pool from 14:00 until 17:00. Castle Green do not accept stag or hen parties. Please note that all bookings over 5 rooms will be charged in full on the day of booking. Please note that coach parking is available for an additional cost of GBP 50. Payment will be taken on arrival. The onsite pub is undergoing refurbishment and will be closed from 07 January - 02 February 2018 at 17:00. During this time, food will be available in the hotel lounge and bar. The lift will also be undergoing renovation work from 22 February - 27 March 2018, and will not be available during this time.
